When Prince William and Kate Middleton return from their honeymoon after their April 29 wedding, there will be little time to relax. They’ll make their first international trip as a married couple to Canada, announced St. James’ Palace, where they’ll embark on a nine-day tour from June 30 to July 8. (The official statement: “Prince William and Miss Catherine Middleton have accepted an invitation from the government of Canada to undertake a Royal Tour.”) It will be Kate’s first royal tour and the jam-packed trip will be a baptism of fire for the new princess, filled with public outings and official engagements.

In other royal wedding news, Wills and Kate have also chosen a photographer for their big day — and it won’t be Mario Testino, who shot their engagement portraits. Instead their wedding will be documented by Hugo Burnand, a favourite of Prince Charles and Camilla Parker Bowles who photographed their own nuptials. Wills and Kate also recently announced their bridal party, including Prince Harry and best man and Kate’s sister Philippa as maid of honour.
