Princess Mary and Prince Frederik Pictures in Korea

Princess Mary and Prince Frederik have been in South Korea since last Thursday on an official six-day trip with an aim to strengthen the ties between Korea and Denmark. As usual, their international visit has seen them fit in plenty of official engagements into each day. On Thursday, they visited the War Memorial of Korea, where they burned incense and beat a traditional drum; Friday’s itinerary included the exhibition of Danish architect Finn Juhl at Daelim Museum and the opening of the 2012 Yeosu Expo. Saturday saw the Danish royals spending another day at the Expo, where they cut the ribbon to open the Denmark Pavilion, and on Sunday they visited the border village of Panmunjom in the demilitarised zone between South and North Korea.
