Robin Williams was the star attraction at the Sydney premiere of Happy Feet Two yesterday. The actor flew in for the event, held at the Entertainment Quarter, and was joined by director George Miller to meet with fans and speak to press on the white carpet. Robin, who lends his voice to the Happy Feet sequel as two characters, said, “It’s double the fun. As Lovelace, I get to be this kind of Barry White, kind of spiritual [penguin].” His second character, Ramon, is still “looking for Miss Right or Miss Right Now and in this place he finds Sofia Vergara, which is a gift.” A furry friend from the movie also accompanied the stars for some photos, while the chilly atmosphere of the animation was recreated with some fake snow — though it’s been so cold in Sydney lately that it didn’t need much help! Happy Feet Two is released on Dec. 26.

Pink joined her fellow Happy Feet Two voice stars, Elijah Wood, Robin Williams, Sofia Vergara and Hank Azaria, at the film’s Hollywood premiere yesterday. The animated flick had a fun, family-friendly debut at Grauman’s Chinese Theatre, complete with tall slides and life-size versions of the cute, cuddly characters. Pink had some extra support in the form of her husband, Carey Hart, and their adorable baby daughter, 5-month-old Willow Sage Hart. And while little Willow didn’t join her parents for pictures on the ice-blue carpet, she was soon reunited with them before the screening started.

2010 Oscars: Sandra, Kathryn Celebrate Oscar at the Governors Ball

The Governors Ball was the first stop for many of the winners and presenters after last night's Oscars ceremony.

The Governors Ball was the first stop for many of the winners and presenters after last night's Oscars ceremony. Best actress Sandra Bullock went from chatting about her award in the press room to the afterparty, where she shared a special moment with her supportive husband, Jesse James. Maggie Gyllenhaal didn't claim a statue for Crazy Heart, but she continued the family evening by joining her mother Naomi Foner for a bite. Barbara Streisand cuddled up to Gerard Butler, while Diane Kruger brought her Chanel gown from the red carpet to the ball. Oprah Winfrey joined Gabourey Sidibe after her touching introduction during the best supporting actress presentation. Zoe Saldana stayed in her voluminous dress—which turned out to be quite the trendsetter—, while Neil Patrick Harris relaxed with David Burtka after his amazing opening number. Sigourney Weaver was happy to let her hair down with Anna Kendrick despite Avatar's not winning Best Picture, but Kathryn Bigelow and screenwriter Mark Boal were thrilled their film The Hurt Locker took home the accolade.

Yesterday's big Oscar winners went from accepting their awards on stage straight into the press room.

Yesterday's big Oscar winners went from accepting their awards on stage straight into the press room. Sandra Bullock humbly spoke about her honour, while Kathryn Bigelow was visibly moved after being the first female to pick up best director for The Hurt Locker—though she's looking forward to a day when gender becomes a moot point. Rachel McAdams and Jake Gyllenhaal were flanking Geoffrey Fletcher, who picked up best screenplay for Precious. Mo'Nique and Christoph Waltz brought their supporting actor gold in for a few photos, while Jeff Bridges joked about starting a band with Colin Farrell. Molly Ringwald and Matthew Broderick joined other actors from John Hughes films to chat after their touching tribute to the late director. There's lots more to come from Hollywood's biggest night, including all the afterparties, so stay tuned!

Robin Williams and Elijah Wood Getting Happy Again

Ready for some more Arctic cuteness?

Ready for some more Arctic cuteness? Good, because there's a sequel to animated penguin film Happy Feet on the way, with Robin Williams and Elijah Wood in talks to reprise their roles.

In Happy Feet 2, Williams will again voice Ramon and Lovelace, while Wood will voice main character Mumble. There aren't any script or plot details yet, but I can already envision Mumble and Gloria showing their baby penguins how to sing and dance. Hopefully, the sequel lives up to the original — the sweet film was not just a visual treat, it won the Oscar for Best Animated Feature in 2006.
