Parties are always a big draw at the Cannes Film Festival, and one of the biggest soirees of all is the amfAR Cinema Against AIDS event. The top stars in the modelling and movie business converge to help raise funds for the cause, doing so in their most glamorous of hair and makeup trends. See how Jessica Chastain, Joan Smalls, and more stunned on the red carpet.
The Cannes Film Festival isn't complete until amfAR's annual Cinema Against AIDS gala goes down. And right now, we're mesmerised by some seriously gorgeous red carpet ensembles that rival those from the week's biggest movie premieres. This year's attendees include Jessica Chastain in a deep red cut-out gown that matched her hair perfectly, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley rocking a little white dress with matching pumps, and Olivia Palermo looking wild as ever in animal print (hello thigh-high slit!). Add a plethora of superchic models and actresses to that list and you have one glamorous affair. Click through to see who's wearing what at the 2013 amfAR benefit.
While it's all good and well to see our favourite celebrities on the red carpet looking beautiful, it's also nice to see them in their natural habitat, rocking equally natural beauty looks. We spotted Emma Stone getting lunch in New York wearing tonal lipstick, Olivia Palermo walking her dog with a high tucked ponytail and Rosie Huntington-Whiteley looking chic with a straight blow dry at LA airport. See the girls up close, now!
Whether they've been around for a long time or a short one, these English beauties have, to take a term from their French neighbours, a certain je ne sais quoi that catapulted them to It Girl status the moment they hit our radars. And one quick glance at the guest list at the 2013 Met Gala proved that this British invasion isn't ending any time soon. Alexa Chung, Jourdan Dunn, Sienna Miller, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, Cara Delevingne and Ashley Madekwe (complete with a new bob!) all put their best beauty looks forward on Tuesday — so consider this gallery an homage to some of their best hair and makeup looks ever. Yes, the Met Gala may have dominated the fashion headlines this week (did you see the gowns?). But, that doesn't mean we didn't have other stylish opportunities to serve our search for this week's best-dressed celebrities. Miranda Kerr and Sarah Jessica Parker's versions of dressing down — Miranda wore a loose Vivienne Westwood jumpsuit and Alexander Wang heels to a showing of The Great Gatsby, SJP wore a vintage floral dress — proved to be some of our favourite looks of theirs. . . There's something about stars not trying too hard that we love. Kate Bosworth made a case for flared skirts (hers by Miu Miu), and of course, we're still impressed by some of the Met Gala style winners — namely, Rooney Mara and Rosie HW. Want more? Right this way!
Rosie Huntington-Whiteley opted for a much darker look for the Met Gala this year, wearing a Gucci gown featuring a sheer black-and-gold tulle top and satin skirt. To add to the high shine, the model accessorised with a lizard jewelled clutch, beautiful drop earrings, and a diamond gold statement ring. Are you loving her skin-revealing brand of glam?

Nicole Richie and Rosie Huntington-Whiteley both wore Balmain to the fashion house's LA dinner party at the Chateau Marmont last night. Nicole's stylish night out comes hot on the heels of the launch of her new reality series, Candidly Nicole. The new web show describes itself as being based on Nicole's Twitter feed and follows her as she goes on various short adventures, and has already earned rave reviews.
Balmain hosted an intimate dinner party at Chateau Marmont last evening with celebrity attendees like Nicole Richie and Rosie Huntington-Whiteley decked out in the designer du jour. Both ladies offered us different looks from Balmain's Spring 2013 collection — but whose outfit do you like best? Watch today's Fashion Flash for all the scoop from the party.
We kicked off the week with the Time 100 Gala, and the style stakes just kept climbing from there! From Olivia Munn's showstopping marigold dress (will anyone ever be able to wear the colour without us thinking of Michelle Williams' iconic Vera Wang?) to Gwyneth Paltrow's controversial sheer number, the gowns we saw this week were nothing if not dramatic. On the more casual side of things, Kate Hudson gave us a lesson in incorporating hot pink into our wardrobe, Kate Beckinsale suited up and Alexa Chung worked a little shift dress like it was nobody's business. See it all — and much more — in here!
Rosie Huntington-Whiteley led the pack of stylish stars at the Vogue UK dinner editor in chief Alexandra Shulman hosted for Michael Kors. Celebrities and style setters alike were decked out in designs by — you guessed it — the night's guest of honour. Miroslava Duma showed off bold stripes, Laura Bailey opted for paillettes, and Samantha Barks tried out a black bodysuit. Watch on for the details on who wore what.
