It's been a big week for premieres this time round, with two major films each being introduced on opposite sides of the world. In Los Angeles, Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson took to the red carpet to promote final Twilight film, Breaking Dawn Part 2, while over here in Sydney Daniel Craig and his leading ladies Naomie Harris and Berenice Marlohe showed off new Bond film, Skyfall. It wasn't just premiere's keeping celebrities busy — we watched Taylor Swift do her thing on stage at the MTV Europe Music Awards while her ex, Jake Gyllenhaal, showed off his mystery girlfriend as they held hands walking around New York. Then there was the fashionable event that was the CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund Awards (where Emma Stone was a total knockout) and a sighting of the cute Garner-Affleck family — sans one member. There's a whole lot more to see, so click through and catch up on the week that was!

Could You See Demi Lovato and Ryan Phillippe as a Couple?
Ryan Phillippe and Demi Lovato are apparently dating! Demi, who's single again after a split from Wilmer Valderrama, has reportedly been seeing the handsome actor for a few months. Ryan has been back on the market after parting ways from Amanda Seyfried earlier this year, and he just became a father for the third time after welcoming a daughter, Kai, with ex Alexis Knapp. Demi, at 18, is another 18 years younger than 36-year-old Ryan. The age gap doesn't seem to be an issue for them, but tell us — could you see Ryan and Demi as an item?
Ryan Phillippe's Ex Alexis Knapp Gives Birth to a Girl
It hasn’t been determined whether Ryan Phillippe is the father of ex-girlfriend Alexis Knapp’s baby, but the actor was in the delivery room when Alexis gave birth to a baby girl named Kai last Friday. When news broke of Alexis’ pregnancy in March, Ryan said that he was prepared to take responsibility and support the child if it was his, and that he was willing to take a paternity test. Prior to the birth, Ryan and Alexis were spotted together in late June when Ryan accompanied Alexis to a doctor’s appointment. As for his current relationship status, Ryan and on-off girlfriend Amanda Seyfried called it quits a month ago. He has two children, Ava and Deacon, from his marriage to Reese Witherspoon.

Reese Opens Up About Ryan, Dating and Friendship in Elle UK
Reese Witherspoon got serious and sexy for the May issue of Elle UK. The cover girl and newlywed, who just shared gorgeous pictures of her wedding day, is also gearing up for this month's US release of Water For Elephants. She started promoting the project with an appearance at the Academy of Country Music Awards alongside co-star Robert Pattinson last night, though she was more focused on her personal life when she sat down with the magazine. She spoke exclusively to Elle UK about her first marriage, the importance of her friendships, and how happy she is not to be dating in Hollywood. Here are highlights:
- On her worst trait: "I'm a worrier. I worry a lot. I'm in my head a lot and I . . . worry. I know it's bad for me and I know I shouldn't do it, but I do. If I said I was quiet to any one of my friends, they'd be like, 'Are you kidding me?' but I get really lost in my thoughts. I like my alone time."
- On dating: "I think dating is inherently complicated, anyway; what I do for a living makes it even more complicated. Let's just say I'm happy to not be dating. I met a wonderful man. I feel really, really lucky."
- On her first marriage to Ryan Phillippe: "Oh, I was so, so young. I was, like, ridiculously young. I learned a lot, though. It was a good opportunity for me to really find out what it means to be a partner and to be in a marriage and it's not anything that I thought it was. You can't say, 'I don't want to talk about that' [to your partner]. You just can't. You've got to talk about it all."

The Lincoln Lawyer: Hop In For the Ride
After films like Ghosts of Girlfriends Past, Surfer Dude and Fool's Gold, Matthew McConaughey hasn't exactly had the best track record as of late. So can a movie about a money-grubbing lawyer with a license plate that reads "NTGUILTY" actually be the way to break his pattern of bad movies? The answer is yes: The Lincoln Lawyer is an entertaining thriller that does more than put the actor's charm on display.
Based on the novel by Michael Connelly, the film centers on Mick Haller (McConaughey), a smooth-talking criminal attorney who's a hustler to his core. He represents the underbelly of LA — bikers, prostitutes, druggies — and his methods of doing business are anything but conventional. Instead of an office, Mick prefers to work from his car (a Lincoln town car per the title) where he wheels and deals. As one character remarks, Mick would've done pretty well for himself on the streets; he knows whose palm to grease to get what he wants whether it's a photographer with valuable video or a local cop. That may make Mick sound like a two-dimensional sleazeball and sometimes he is, but there's also more to him than meets the eye.
Find out more about why the film is worth seeing when you read more.
Video: Ryan Phillippe on Playing a Villain in The Lincoln Lawyer
Ryan Phillippe's The Lincoln Lawyer is out in cinemas today and PopSugar US sat down with the actor to talk about everything from playing a villain in the film to how emotional his kids can make him. Ryan also revealed that while he didn't know Matthew McConaughey before making the movie, Ava and Deacon had met him through Reese Witherspoon's new husband, Jim Toth. Ryan also joked that he and Matthew have a lot of interests in common — football, family and fitness among them! He shows off an intense side in the film and enjoyed getting to play a character with some questionable morals. Check out our interview!
