Sam Worthington was the only high profile Aussie attending the Oscars and now he’s copped a bashing for chewing gum while presenting an Academy Award. The Avatar star and Jennifer Lopez took to the stage to present the award for Best Original Score. Jennifer had on a gorgeous Armani Privé gown, while Sam rocked up wearing $20 Payless Shoes and a “kickarse suit.” While Jen was rattling off the nominees, Sam was chomping away like a cow in the paddock and now he's been slammed in the press. But what do you think? Is chewing gum at the Oscars REALLY such a big deal?

It didn't bother me, although he could have avoid it. It would have bothered if everybody else would decide to do he same. Not apropriate.
