We're taking one last style-focused look at Milan Fashion Week's front-row set and after-party whimsy, as the fashion crowd heads to Paris. Celebrity fashion-lovers flocked to Paris for this week's haute couture fashion week. Kicking things off in style was Versace's runway presentation, drawing Gleeks Lea Michele and Matthew Morrison as well as Jessica Alba and Mad Men's resident siren Christina Hendricks to sit front row, while Christian Dior, Armani Privé and Chanel attracted royalty of the real (Princesses Charlene and Tatiana), and Hollywood (Sophia Loren), variety. From day four, Valentino brought the heavy-hitters with Olivia Palermo, Clémence Poésy and stylish duo Kim Kardashian and Kanye West in attendance. The watch for red-carpet glamour is at an all-time high as we near the Oscars, but before we can ready ourselves for the onslaught of dazzling gowns at this year's awards, we're testing your knowledge of looks from the past. Think you know the designers behind the looks and the A-listers who made them famous? Let's find out — quiz time!
There was a great deal of glamour on display at this evening's Oscars. Academy Awards newcomer Hailee Steinfeld lead the subtle sparkling trend in a tea length frock, while Cate Blanchett picked a lavender hue and Black Swan's Mila Kunis wore a darker purple shade. Scarlett Johansson and Natalie Portman also stuck with the colour theme. Amy Adams, meanwhile, went bold in blue with her sequined pick. Blue Valentine star Michelle Williams, who brought her pal Busy Phillips as her date, dazzled in a pearly number, while Nicole Kidman picked a similar hue in a strapless style. Celine Dion chose a simple and chic white gown, and Halle Berry stepped out in an ethereal design. Mandy Moore arrived solo in a romantic dress, and Gwyneth Paltrow's first look of two was a metallic number. Red was perhaps the night's most popular colour, with Jennifer Hudson choosing a bright halter dress and Jennifer Lawrence being a knockout in her fitted number. Last year's best actress winner, Sandra Bullock, returned in red and the show's host, Anne Hathaway, was decked out in a similar look from Valentino for her first gown. Reese Witherspoon changed things up in black and white, and Camila Alves perfectly complimented her partner, Matthew McConaughey, in a black gown. Mila is currently your pick for the evening's best dressed — click through to see more photos, and remember to vote on all of Fab and Bella's polls!
There are over 100 more photos of all the ladies at the Oscars, so be sure to read more.
Ryan Gosling brought a special lady, his mum, Donna, as his date to the second annual Governors Awards in LA on Saturday night. The birthday boy celebrated his 30th at Disneyland on Friday, and while he's had plenty of memorable onstage moments in the past, the evening was all about the honorees like Francis Ford Coppola and Eli Wallach. Sofia Coppola came out to support her dad alongside Natalie Portman, Hilary Swank and Elle Fanning. The ladies were joined by guests Stephen Dorff, Justin Long and Josh Brolin, who stuck by his red-hot wife, Diane Lane.
Kylie Minogue is on a promotional blitz in the US and appeared on Dancing with the Stars Tuesday and then stopped by the Tonight Show with Jay Leno on Wednesday. She ditched the back-up dancers and disco ball and instead had Jay’s musical director Rickey Minor back her up with his house band. Love! Check it out here. After her performance, she rushed over to host the amfAR Inspiration Gala in Los Angeles where she mingled with celebs including Sharon Stone, Dita von Teese, and Courtney Love.
