Shia LaBeouf, who is currently sporting a medical boot due to an ankle injury, dressed up in a suit for the premiere of The Company You Keep at MoMA in NYC last night. He joined his castmates Brit Marling, Stanley Tucci and director Robert Redford on the carpet to debut the film ahead of its limited release in the US on Friday (in Australian cinemas on Apr. 18). It was a busy day for the injured star, who also made a stop by the Late Show With David Letterman that same day.

Shia's attendance at his The Company You Keep premiere followed his controversial appearance at another opening night recently. Last week, Shia took a front-row seat at the preview performance of Orphans, much to the surprise of his ex-co-stars Alec Baldwin and Tom Sturridge. Shia was originally cast in the Broadway show but was replaced by Ben Foster. Shia touched on his dismissal during his interview with David Letterman, noting once again that he left because of "tensions as men" between himself and Alec.

It's been a star-studded few days in Berlin, where Anne Hathaway, James Franco, Rooney Mara and many more celebs have popped up to premiere their films at the Berlin International Film Festival. Today, Rooney Mara and Jude Law met up in the German capital to present their film, Side Effects. Earlier in the festival, a Chanel-clad Anne linked up with Les Misérables co-star Hugh Jackman to promote their hit project. Their co-star Amanda Seyfried was pulling double-duty at the festival, where she premiered Les Misérables as well as her upcoming film Lovelace with James Franco and Peter Sarsgaard. Evan, who recently revealed her pregnancy, plays a Romanian woman in the film, which takes place almost entirely in Bucharest. Shia's sense of humour shines throughout the bloody, action-packed project. Also making a fun appearance in the movie was Rupert Grint, whose drug-addled aspiring porn star is a very funny departure from Harry Potter's best friend Ron Weasley.

The guys and girls of Lawless hit the red carpet for a premiere of their movie at the Cannes Film Festival last night. Shia LaBeouf, Tom Hardy, and Guy Pearce appeared on the Croisette in tuxes, while their leading ladies Jessica Chastian and Mia Wasikowska donned gowns. Special guests like Sean Combs and Bérénice Bejo walked the press line as well. Shia, Tom, Jessica and Mia had a busy day, chatting up the press and posing for pictures at a morning photocall. The film, based on the book The Wettest County in the World, is out in September, and the Lawless reviews are so far good. Shia spoke about Lawless and how it's a good representation of the movies he'd like to be making. He said, "I'm going to be doing things that I like for a while, until the business says, 'No, we need you to do this, or you can't work.'" Jessica has been especially busy around the festival since she has another film screening. Madagascar 3: Europe's Most Wanted premiered, she wore Armani for that event alongside costars in the animated picture like Jada Pinkett Smith and Chris Rock.
