Well, it's Friday lunch-time, and you know what that means. . . It's time to recap what's been going on in our work world this week! We kicked it off with a delish lunch that made a rainy day seem so much better, and the rest flowed from there! Marisa went to lunch hosted by Megan Gale, who was as lovely and gorgeous as ever, Alison tried out some new products — including the too-cute Archies Girls range by MAC — and Jess attended an Aussie movie premiere and tried out a cooking school. Throw in the green nail polish, the new boyfriend and packets and packets of Tim Tams and you have a very happy week! It's all here in this gallery — click through and check it out.

Sugar Diary: Our Week in Pics

It's lucky we're all girlie girls in here at Sugar, because our week couldn't have been prettier or more feminine.

It's lucky we're all girlie girls in here at Sugar, because our week couldn't have been prettier or more feminine. It started off with us oohing and aahing over the red carpet arrivals at the Oscars — such stellar viewing needed chocolate, and lots of it, so we had a table laden with the stuff. After the big event came a few happenings closer to home — Marisa hit the Witchery A/W 2013 Collection launch at David Jones in Sydney (and spied Samantha Harris sitting front row), while Alison had a Chanel launch to get dolled up for. We also marked the end of summer with lots of layers and hours of good DVDs to watch . . . . Doesn't that sound nice on this dreary day? Happy Friday! We've been a busy bunch this week, with various important events (and some not so) keeping us in the loop.

Happy Friday! We've been a busy bunch this week, with various important events (and some not so) keeping us in the loop. Jess hit the 2013 Foxtel Program Launch mid-week, where she spotted Chris Hemsworth and Jennifer Hawkins, while some of us spied the lovely — and so teeny! — Bethenny Frankel at an event held to showcase her SkinnyGirl Cocktails range. Ali attended the launch of the Zegna A/W sunglasses collection, and spied some goood lookin' suits while she was at it; the One Teaspoon A/W collection launch was a change of pace but just as impressive. Throw in some green mascara, a big, beautiful breakfast, nail polish, some seriously good bargains and a lot of chatter, and you've got yourself a week at Sugar. With FabSugar editor Ali hitting numerous city hotspots to check out Autumn/Winter fashion collections (so many brights!), BellaSugar ed Alison chatting with Ruby Rose and Miranda Kerr — both are doing cool new things with their famous manes — and PopSugar's Jess attending a celeb-filled lunch, we were full up this week with all things bright and beautiful. Well, it's been a fashion- and beauty-filled week, to say the least!

Well, it's been a fashion- and beauty-filled week, to say the least! Much of our time was taken up by the David Jones A/W '13 Fashion Launch, which was held on Wednesday night. Ali and Alison had access to all the behind-the-scenes action, and they spent some time chatting to the gorgeous Miranda Kerr about all things style and beauty. In the office, we were blown away by Beyoncé's crazy-good Super Bowl performance, and Jess scored tickets to an event fit for a princess. In amongst it all, we saw pretty new products, received some exciting deliveries, and made sure we took some time out for a drink (or two!). Click through to see everything else we got up to!

It's been a big week here in Sydney, with lots of red carpet events and celebrity sightings to fill up our time.

It's been a big week here in Sydney, with lots of red carpet events and celebrity sightings to fill up our time. PopSugar editor Jess was up to her ears in Aussie stars (and a couple international) when she hit both the AACTA Awards and the Hansel & Gretel: Witch Hunters premiere in Sydney. We spied so many gorgeous dresses on people like Cate Blanchett and Jessica Mauboy, and we were loving Megan Gale's dark, voluminous waves when she stepped onto the carpet. Ali went to fashion showings and received a very cool, very Chanel gift, while Alison's been trying out some new nail polish colours and perfecting her travel beauty kit. The weeks here at Sugar are sliding by so fast, we can't believe we're already ending our third week back!

The weeks here at Sugar are sliding by so fast, we can't believe we're already ending our third week back! It's been a really big and busy week, with the Critics' Choice Awards last Friday and the Golden Globes on Monday taking over our minds and computer screens. In between scoping out all the amazing dresses and divine beauty looks, we were trialling new products that landed on our desks, picking up some fun deliveries (we love a good slogan tee!) and interviewing the lovely Rose Byrne at the premiere of her new movie, I Give It a Year. Sugar Diary: Our Week in Pics

Well, we are well and truly back into the swing of things here at Sugar!

Well, we are well and truly back into the swing of things here at Sugar! Going back to work isn't the greatest thing in the world, but our transition from sloth-like sunbathers into busy working bees was made much easier by some lovely happenings along the way. One of us got engaged (cue squeals and tears) and has been receiving stunning flowers and well-wishes, while others have been hitting movie premieres and the ice-cream fridge to keep cool on hot days. There were pretty deliveries from Etsy, yummy Summer-friendly foods, plenty of awards-season action and some bright nail polish colours to liven up our work wear. Welcome back, Sugars. We're slowly getting back into the swing of things here at work in sunny Circular Quay, but our minds are definitely still in holiday mode! We kickstarted our Christmas break with a big event — the premiere of Les Misérables in Sydney, complete with two of the film's stars, Hugh Jackman and Russell Crowe — but from there on out it was all about big, happy team dinners, Christmas cupcakes, sunny days at the beach, and for lucky BellaSugar editor Alison, a sun-soaked trip to Bali. Best of 2012: Sugar Diary!

How do you sum up a year of Sugar?

How do you sum up a year of Sugar? Celebrities. Colour. Friends. Entertainment. Fashion. Beauty. Laughter. Food — so much food. 2012 has been such a great year, we'll be sorry to see the back of it. . . but so excited to do it all over again in 2013! This year, we bid adieu to a much-loved staff member, and welcome two newbies who are loving every minute. We met mega stars like Nicole Richie, Miranda Kerr, Daniel Craig, Kate Bosworth, Kristen Stewart and many more. We saw endless amounts of brand spankin' new fashion collections and trends, we tried and tested new beauty products, and we were lucky enough to be on the receiving end of some epic gifts. In between all that, we ate our building's weight in chocolate, macarons and cake pops, indulged in a few champagnes, and above all, had the best time doing it all together.
