Jennifer Lawrence and Liam Hemsworth linked up with their Catching Fire co-star Sam Claflin this morning for a photo call at the extremely rainy Cannes Film Festival! The trio were able to escape the elements by posing inside the Majestic Hotel. Jennifer, Sam, and Liam are in France to hype up the second installment of The Hunger Games series, which is out in Australia on November 21. Also smiling for the cameras were Lionsgate co-chairmen Rob Friedman and Patrick Wachsberger and director Francis Lawrence.

The cast and team behind the film are busy despite the release being six months away. It was just announced that COVERGIRL will launch the Capitol Collection, a range of makeup products inspired by the film. And Liam made sure to enjoy the social side of Cannes too. Last night, he and a group of guy friends checked out the Rev Run and DJ Rukus set at Belvedere's party inside the VIP Room club.

Liam Hemsworth stepped out with a group of guy friends last night in Cannes at Belvedere's big soiree. The actor was one of several celebrities in attendance; Solange Knowles also arrived just before Rev Run and DJ Ruckus took to the turntables to spin a set full of throwback hip-hop for the crowd. The Help's Ahna O'Reilly also made an appearance at the party, which was nestled in an underground VIP space in the J.W. Marriott, right in the heart of the city's bustling festival scene.

Liam is in Cannes to celebrate the Hunger Games franchise, while Miley Cyrus has been tweeting about spending time in the recording studio back in the states as she works on new music. Liam's second film in the series isn't screening during the festival, but the cast — including Jennifer Lawrence — gathered today for a Catching Fire photocall (pics coming soon!), and Lionsgate is throwing a bash in honour of the film later tonight.

Check Out an Exciting New Poster For Catching Fire

Lionsgate has just revealed the first official poster for Catching Fire (not to be confused with the motion poster or victory tour propaganda).

Lionsgate has just revealed the first official poster for Catching Fire (not to be confused with the motion poster or victory tour propaganda). It's pretty cool, too: a vintage-looking Katniss ponders the meaning of life atop a bluff with her trusty bow and arrow in hand, along with a quote from the novel: "The sun persists in rising, so I make myself stand." I still wish we could get a peek at the new arena, but I'll take what I can get for now. How do you feel about the new one-sheet?

But wait — there's more exciting news on the Hunger Games front: Lionsgate has launched an official Instagram account for The Hunger Games, so be sure to check it out for all the latest updates on Catching Fire, which is out on Nov. 21.

Those who were watching the MTV Movie Awards got a special sneak peek of Jennifer Lawrence, Liam Hemsworth and Josh Hutcherson in Catching Fire — and we have it right here now too! The clip shows some gruesome scenes from the book (like Gale's whipping) and hints at the impending revolution — along with a steamy kiss between Gale and Katniss. We even get a look at Philip Seymour Hoffman as Plutarch Heavensbee, but unfortunately no look at the tropical arena just yet.

The second Hunger Games movie isn't coming out until Nov. 21, so thank goodness we're getting a look at Katniss, Peeta, and the whole crew to tide us over until then. Did you miss it? No worries, we've got the teaser after the jump.

Liam Hemsworth as Gale Hawthorne

The Hunger Games' official Catching Fire portraits are being unveiled for Capitol Couture this week, and we are thrilled to officially debut this very handsome image of Gale. In the portrait, Gale holds one white rose, which holds symbolism in the series. The portraits for Johanna Mason, Peeta Mellark and Katniss Everdeen — played by newly minted Oscar winner Jennifer Lawrence, of course — also show their characters with the same single flower. Gale becomes a far more central character in the second Hunger Games instalment, and we are certainly excited to see more of Liam Hemsworth in the role. Catching Fire comes out Nov. 21, and you can follow all of the exciting updates on its Twitter, Facebook and Instagram pages.

If you're up to speed with all the happenings in Hollywood, you'll know that Jennifer Lawrence is a girl on fire. Winning awards left, right and centre for her acting skills, the The Hunger Games star is just as impressive off-screen as she is on — especially when it comes to her hair and beauty adventures. Though she's been hitting red carpets since early 2008, it was her bombshell blonde waves and slinky red dress at the 2011 Oscars that really made us sit up and take notice. Since then, we've seen dark brown locks at the Silver Linings Playbook premiere in September, lighter, more natural tones at the Golden Globes earlier this week, and plenty of smouldering eyeshadow colours in between. Here's Your First Official Look at Jennifer Lawrence in Catching Fire!

We've been dying for any glimpse we can get of Catching Fire, and today we've got a big treat!

We've been dying for any glimpse we can get of Catching Fire, and today we've got a big treat! Entertainment Weekly has the first official look at the Hunger Games sequel on this week's cover, featuring Jennifer Lawrence as Katniss and newcomer Sam Claflin as Finnick — all suited up and ready for their second time in the arena. I'm already hungry for more pictures, but in the meantime, Claflin is looking pret-ty good with that trident, no? In the issue, Lawrence jokes about her candid interviews with the media, while Claflin admits that he's moderately terrified of the Hunger Games fan base. Here are highlights:

  • Jennifer Lawrence, joking about running her mouth to reporters: "It’s almost like I subconsciously don’t want to work anymore, so I’m trying to ruin my career. I'm pregnant!"
  • Jennifer on crazy antics between takes: "When Sam [Claflin] walked in, I was chasing Woody [Harrelson], and we’d flipped over my couch, and Woody had a sock all the way down my throat . . . "
  • Sam Claflin on taking on a more provocative scene from the book: "The scariest moment of my life. I’m on Twitter, and so many people have been like, 'Don’t mess this up, or we will kill you.'"
