When it was first announced that funny BFFs Tina Fey and Amy Poehler would be co-hosting this year’s Golden Globes, we started counting down to their show opener. And thankfully it didn’t disappoint as we had pretty high expectations! Golden Globe nominees themselves — which they acknowledged — the former SNL stars cracked jokes about the A-list in the star-studded room, including Anne Hathaway (Tina: "Anne Hathaway, you gave a stunning performance in Les Misérables. I have not seen someone so totally alone and abandoned like that since you were onstage with James Franco at the Oscars"), director Quentin Tarantino (Tina: "Quentin Tarantino is here . . . the star of all my sexual nightmares"), and Zero Dark Thirty director Kathryn Bigelow (Amy: "It was a great year for women in film — Kathryn Bigelow, nominated tonight. I haven't really been following the controversy over Zero Dark Thirty, but when it comes to torture, I trust the lady who spent three years married to James Cameron"). In case you missed their opening speech or want to re-watch it, check it out after the jump.
