Elle Macpherson’s baby daddy, Arki Busson, has split with fiancée Uma Thurman. According to the New York Post (if you can decipher Cindy Adams and her jacked-up grammar) the two got in a tiff and Arki decided to call off the engagement.

There seems to be conflicting reports as to who initiated the split, but Cindy was the first to break the story. The couple began dating in 2007 and a year later he proposed with an 8-carat diamond solitaire surrounded by 20 smaller stones. A source explains, “She will probably give it back. She wants to return everything that is his." Another cause of tension in the relationship was that he reportedly lost a boatload of money in the Bernie Madoff ponzi scheme and had $230 million in assets with the dodgy investor.  Arki was engaged to Elle for three years and they have two sons. Meanwhile, Uma has a son and daughter with ex-husband Ethan Hawke. I would say there might be a chance of Elle and Arki reconciling, but she looks pretty smitten with her new US boyfriend.
