Zac, who puts in an impressive dramatic performance in the film, revealed his secret to stirring up emotions on the set. He admitted he was relieved that he avoided going head to head at the box office with his girlfriend Vanessa—her Beastly was originally scheduled to hit US cinemas on the same weekend as Zac's film but was pushed back.
