Anchorman: The Legend Continues is shaping up to be a star-studded affair! On set in Atlanta yesterday, Tina Fey and Amy Poehler were armed with crowbars as they shot a fight scene with Sacha Baron Cohen while Liam Neeson and John C. Reilly posed with extras while holding swords and muskets. Meanwhile, Kirsten Dunst and Jim Carrey arrived on set to get ready for their cameos alongside the original Anchorman stars Will Ferrell, Paul Rudd, and Steve Carell. This week's cast of characters aren't the only stars who will be appearing in the movie. Harrison Ford hit the set in March, when it was also confirmed that Nicole Kidman and Kristen Wiig will all be featured in guest roles for the comedy, which is slated to hit theaters later this year on Dec. 20.
We spoke with Chloë Grace Moretz and Mackelmore on the MTV Movie Awards red carpet and then made our way into the show. We have all the insider details about Selena Gomez, the cast of Pitch Perfect, and more!
Celebrities suited up and got to work this week on the sets of their most recent projects. Matt Damon teamed up with George Clooney to shoot The Monuments Men in Berlin, and Will Ferrell took on his role as Ron Burgundy to film Anchorman 2 in Atlanta. Tom Hardy and Noomi Rapace played fetch with their canine costar, while Keri Russell got serious in NYC for The Americans. Click through to see all of this week's stars on set!
Goodness, this has been an exciting week for film! Shailene Woodley nabbed a lead role, Kristen Wiig and Will Ferrell are collaborating, Christina Applegate is in talks for a reboot, Tom Cruise may play a famous TV man, and Ryan Gosling has added Saoirse Ronan to his directorial debut. See all those and more in this week's biggest casting news!
Will Ferrell and Christina Applegate headed to the set of Anchorman: The Legend Continues in Atlanta this week, and they were joined by an exciting new member of the cast — Harrison Ford! Ford joins the sequel playing a veteran newscaster, but not much else is known about the role. The movie won't hit theaters until December, but seeing Ferrell suited up as Ron Burgundy again is enough to hold me over for a bit. Check out all the pictures of the cast on set!
Ashton Kutcher and Mila Kunis brought their PDA courtside last night to watch as the LA Lakers took on the Phoenix Suns at the Staples Center. The usually press-shy couple cuddled up and laughed during the game, which the home team won 91-85. It wasn't all overt affection for Mila and Ashton, though — at one point, they held up a piece of paper to share a private moment. Their night out comes in the middle of a fun week. Ashton turned 35 on Feb. 7, and tomorrow is, of course, Valentine's Day. Tonight, Mila will attend the LA debut of Oz The Great and Powerful — and we'll be LIVE from the premiere! The fun starts tonight at 9:30 p.m. EST/6:30 p.m. PST right here on POPSUGAR. Ashton is expected to attend as well.
Ashton and Mila were joined at last night's matchup by Will Ferrell, who stole the show dressed as an usher with the name tag "Ted Vagina." Rocking his Anchorman 2 beard, Will made headlines by escorting Shaquille O'Neal out of the stadium after a supposed infraction from Shaq.
