NYC's Ziegfeld Theatre played host to the star-studded premiere of Madagascar 3: Europe's Most Wanted last night. Jessica Chastain chose a vintage Yves Saint Laurent dress to hit the red carpet following the announcement that she's the new face of the brand's Manifesto fragrance. Ben Stiller and his wife, Christine Taylor, as well as Chris Rock and his family, posed for the cameras. Jada Pinkett Smith had the support of her husband, Will, and daughter, Willow, at the event, which comes after the animated movie's glamorous debut at the Cannes Film Festival last month. Salma Hayek was on hand for the French premiere, but she didn't make it to the latest press stop.

Madagascar 3 is in theaters today, and if the opening is anything like Men in Black 3's May release, the Pinkett-Smith clan will have another hit to their name. Will might also be topping the music charts again soon since he's remixing his 1990s hit, "Summertime," which will be available for download next week.

Will Smith went shirtless for a day on the beach in Hawaii with his kids Willow and Jaden. Will Smith's six-pack is always a welcome sight and has been a staple on movie sets in year's past. Now it's time for the Smith family to relax after Will spent the Spring and early Summer shooting Men in Black III in NYC. While Will worked on the latest installment in his blockbuster franchise, his successful kids racked up appearances in the spotlight. Willow and Jaden Smith won a BET award last month, and they popped up on the red carpet for Transformers: Dark of the Moon as well.

Shia LaBeouf and Rosie Huntington-Whiteley hit the Transformers: Dark of the Moon premiere last night in NYC's Times Square, which was decked out with a huge Transformer, Bumblebee, and about 1,000 screaming fans! Organizers of the screening went for a party atmosphere, complete with a DJ and even a host! Members of the cast like Ken Jeong and Josh Duhamel walked the red carpet along with fans of the franchise like Willow and Jaden Smith. We snagged a moment with an Antonio Berardi-clad Rosie, who told us about how her background as a model came in handy while shooting this movie. She said, "I think it helped me run in heels! I think that was one of the main things it definitely helped me with." Patrick Dempsey, meanwhile, walked the carpet with his wife Jillian by his side. The Grey's Anatomy star chatted about Rosie joining the mix of men. Patrick said, "She knows how to take care of herself in a situation with a lot of guys around! She's got a great sense of humor." Tyrese Gibson also weighed in on Rosie's role in the film, calling her "a sexy beast!" Shia, meanwhile, spoke about graduating from the Transformers franchise after three movies. Shia said, "I'm so thrilled. This is the best movie we've ever made. Had we not made a good movie, I wouldn't be thrilled. I'd probably want another shot at it."

The BET Awards celebrated the largest names in hip-hop and R&B with wild fashion, high-energy dance routines, and a mini scandal at LA's Shrine Auditorium last night. The show kicked off with a mashup of hits from Mary J. Blige before the awards were dished out to the night's winners. Taking a break from touring with Britney Spears, Nicki Minaj joined Justin Bieber to present the best male hip-hop artist award to Kanye West. Nicki didn't go home empty handed as she took home the honors for best female hip-hop artist. Justin was without his girlfriend, Selena Gomez, but he was in the company of pals Jaden and Willow Smith, who stepped out with their parents, Will and Jada, and the siblings shared the win in the young stars category.

The night was full of incredible performances including a medley of hits and the debut of a new single, "Typewriter," from Alicia Keys, who was also marking the 10-year anniversary of her mega hit album Songs in A Minor. Most of the evening went down without a hitch, but there was a critical mix-up in BET's viewer's choice category when Chris Brown was announced the winner, then it was switched to Rihanna and Drake. Turns out Chris was the actual winner, and the error was due to teleprompter confusion, though Drake admittedly felt "awkward" about the error. Chris finished out the evening with four awards while Jennifer Hudson grabbed the win for best female R&B artist and Patti LaBelle was recognized with a lifetime achievement award — get the full list of BET winners here!

The whole Smith family stepped out in LA yesterday to watch as Will's oldest son, Trey, graduated from high school! Will flew West during a break in shooting Men in Black III in NYC to join his wife, Jada, and younger children Willow and Jaden at the event. Trey had both his stepmom, Jada, and mom, Sheree Zampino, on hand. Easygoing Will was even spotted mingling with the other proud parents and introducing himself to some of Trey's classmates, though four bodyguards were apparently on hand in case a situation arose. Will was a frequent face around the school and was often in the stands cheering on Trey as he played football. Jada is presently gearing up for the return of her TV series Hawthorne and, in an interview with Uptown magazine, discussed how she and Will have allowed Jaden and Willow to be child stars. She said, "Believe it or not, they're both like me and Will . . . Willow's a lot like me — just in the chances she'll take. And then, Jaden has the drive of his father. Jaden and I are what I call introverted extroverts. Willow and Will are more pow! Jaden and I, well, we don't give that to just anybody . . . There are so many other kids you can worry about. My kids? They're going to be all right. I get why people would criticize. But people need to know that Will and I would never put our children in a situation that would bring them detriment."

Gwen Stefani landed on the cover of Elle's May Women in Music issue. The singer is currently working on her seventh album with No Doubt and she also has her hands full with her sweet sons. Jennifer Hudson, who has her own adorable little guy, Willow Smith, Adele, and Florence Welch are some of the other artists featured in the magazine along with Aretha Franklin, Nicki Minaj and Feist. All the ladies chatted with Elle about their work, though Gwen got personal and touched on her husband, Gavin Rossdale, her appearance, and pregnancy. Here's more:

• Gwen on Gavin: “The first time we ever kissed was right around Valentine’s Day — we were in New Orleans on tour. So, yeah, I always think about that because it’s unbelievable that we’ve been able to stay together. I feel so proud of us — it’s one of my biggest achievements.”
• Gwen on her appearance: “I mean, I’m very vain. That would be my middle name. Of course I am, you know what I mean? I love the visual."
• Gwen on performing while pregnant: “It was horrible. Certain songs would make me want to puke. You feel pretty gross when you are first pregnant. You don’t feel cute, you feel disgusting. You’re getting fat. It was hard.”
• Jennifer on the changes in her life: “My surroundings and my lifestyle are different, and it’s like, what part of Jennifer is the same as 10 years ago? The only thing I have to hold on to is my voice.”
