Wish You Were Here Sydney Premiere Celebrity Pictures: Teresa Palmer, Joel Edgerton and More

Australian actors Joel Edgerton and Teresa Palmer returned to Sydney for the red carpet premiere of Wish You Were Here last night. The intense Aussie drama is about four friends who holiday to Cambodia when one of them goes missing, and it opened the Sundance Film Festival earlier this year. Husband-wife team Kieran Darcy-Smith and Felicity Price worked together on the script, with Kieran stepping behind the camera to direct and Felicity starring as Joel’s onscreen wife. Kieran revealed at the premiere that instead of asking Joel to appear, it was the actor who asked to be in the film! It’s a big year for Joel, who also has The Odd Life of Timothy Green and The Great Gatsby being released in 2012. Collette Dinnigan-clad Teresa has two more projects set for release as well: AWOL and Warm Bodies. The Australian release date for Wish You Were Here is April 25.
