The Tribeca Film Festival kicked off this week, and the annual event has already brought plenty of star power to NYC. Sienna Miller was among the famous faces at Vanity Fair's Tribeca bash on Tuesday night, and the host of premieres has included appearances from Zac Efron and his At Any Price co-stars Dennis Quaid and Heather Graham. Festival jurors Eva Longoria and Whoopi Goldberg got together at a special lunch yesterday, Olivia Wilde celebrated For the Love of Cinema with model Karolina Kurkova, and Emma Roberts had support from her boyfriend, Evan Peters, at the premiere party for Adult World. The fun continues until the end of the month, but click through now to see all that's happened so far!

There's some fun casting news this week, including the exciting word that Revenge's Emily VanCamp will be the latest leading lady in a superhero franchise. But that's not all: Zac Efron is set to get mysterious, The Amazing Spider-Man 2 recruited an Oscar nominee, and Jessica Chastain will match wits with Colin Farrell. Check out this week's biggest movie casting news and let us know which roles you're most excited to see these actors in.
David Beckham brought along his Galaxy teammate Robbie Keane to sit courtside at Tuesday night's Lakers game in LA. A usual face in the front row at the Staples Center, David cheered on the basketball squad with Robbie, an Irish player, on one side and Adam Levine on the other. Adam and David got into the action, though only one brought along their significant other — Adam had his model girlfriend, Behati Prinsloo, by his side, but Victoria Beckham stayed home. Despite the sports action, Adam still took time to send his well wishes to those suffering in the wake of Hurricane Sandy on the East Coast. Adam tweeted, "Sending love to those who need it on the east coast. You are all in our thoughts."
There were plenty more stars on hand in addition to David and Adam. Katy Perry stayed close to her dad and far away from her ex-husband, Russell Brand. Zac Efron was also there to cheer for the Lakers despite their 91-99 loss to the visiting Mavericks.
Zac Efron swung by Jimmy Kimmel Live! on Thursday night to chat about his new movie, The Paperboy, which co-stars Nicole Kidman. The film apparently required Zac to show a bit of skin — he confessed to spending a lot of time on set wearing just underpants! Zac also stars in the film with Matthew McConaughey, who shared some advice with Zac, and apparently offered serious words about how going shirtless can affect one's career.
Zac Efron had a busy weekend in Canada promoting At Any Price at the Toronto International Film Festival. On Saturday, he attended a cocktail get-together with costar Dennis Quaid, and was back in the spotlight on Sunday for a photocall and premiere. Zac posed with leading lady Maika Monroe on the carpet before they continued their night at the afterparty. It was just the latest film festival fun for Zac and Maika, who also made an appearance in Venice last week. Zac's not done up north, since he also has The Paperboy premiering at TIFF.
Zac Efron hit the red carpet last night at the Venice Film Festival premiere of At Any Price. Zac posed solo, then joined up with his lovely co-star, Maika Monroe, for some stylish snaps before heading into the theatre. He's among the first wave of celebrities to arrive in Italy with Ben Affleck, Rachel McAdams, and other expected in the upcoming days — see all the hot pics from Venice so far! From Italy Zac will next travel to Canada, where his Lee Daniels-directed drama, The Paperboy (you can watch the trailer here), is screening at this year's Toronto International Film Festival. His schedule is jam-packed through the end of the year, and he won't be slowing down anytime soon with news that he just landed a new gig. Zac will star in Are We Officially Dating?, a romantic comedy slated to start production this Spring in NYC.
The Venice Film Festival is under way! Things kicked off Wednesday with the premiere of Kate Hudson and Liev Schreiber's The Reluctant Fundamentalist. Both Kate and Liev brought their significant others. Kate made the rounds with Matthew Bellamy, while Liev stuck close to Naomi Watts. Zac Efron rolled into town ahead of At Any Price's debut, while Winona Ryder popped up to show off The Iceman. The festival will continue through next week with stars like Ben Affleck, Rachel McAdams, and Joaquin Phoenix heading over for photo ops, interviews, and gondola rides. We're excited for more red-carpet glamour — click through to see what's already gone down!
It's time for your shirtless Zac Efron break with The Paperboy trailer, but be warned, this is not a wholesome outing for the heartthrob. In the 1960s-set drama directed by Precious' Lee Daniels, Efron plays Jack, the younger brother of reporter Ward (Matthew McConaughey). Jack is helping Ward investigate the case of Hillary Van Wetter (John Cusack), who is accused of murder and sitting on death row. Sexing up the whole situation is Charlotte (Nicole Kidman), a vivacious blonde who claims to be in love with Hillary, despite the fact that she's never met him before. However, Charlotte's devotion to Hillary doesn't prevent her from seducing young Jack, which seems to lead him to some violence amid the steamy Southern backdrop.
The Paperboy looks sexy, grimy, and pretty bananas, though I love seeing Kidman sashaying around on screen and acting quite crazy. Even if you're not into the story, it's worth the watch just to spy Efron slow-dancing with Kidman in his tighty-whities. Watch the trailer after the jump.
