There were many events that had celebs talking this week — whether it was the devastating end to a tween relationship, the announcement of this year's Sexiest Man Alive or the fact that iPhones have a mind of their own, our favourite stars were forthcoming when it came to sharing their opinions on Twitter. If they weren't weren't keeping up to date with celeb news, they were filling us in on their daily lives: Alexa Chung got stuck in a fun-sounding hole, Jesinta Campbell described her perfect night in, and Scott Dooley let loose on Ed Hardy tracksuits. It's all in here, and more, so click through the gallery and start reading!
Director Sam Raimi gave audiences a sneak peek to his epic new film, Oz: The Great and Powerful, at this year's Comic-Con, but now we're treated to the full-length trailer. The teaser gave us a good feel for the film's whimsical aesthetic, but the new preview sheds some light on the Wizard of Ozprequel's actual plot. Shady magician Oz (James Franco) gets plopped into the Emerald City and is tasked with saving the land of Oz. Though he strives to do something great with his life, Oz is unsure if he can live up to the expectations of those depending on him, like witchy sisters Theodora (Mila Kunis) and Evanora (Rachel Weisz) and the luminous Glinda (Michelle Williams). If he succeeds, the kingdom, and all its riches, are his.
In short: this movie looks astounding. Raimi is doing it in 3D and I can't wait to be smack in the middle of the Emerald City — talking dolls, flying monkeys and all. I'm especially curious to see the Wicked Witch 2.0; that flash of her fiery appearance at the end is chilling. I like that he's balancing the scary factor with a little bit of humour; I got in a chuckle at the munchkin part. Oz: The Great and Powerfulhits cinemas March 7, and you can watch the trailer after the jump.
The cast of The Hangover Part II got together with their director, Todd Phillips, for a screening of the comedy in NYC yesterday. Bradley Cooper, Ed Helms and Zach Galifianakis made the trip east following the premiere of their film in LA last week, and they kept the fun coming with an after party at the Top of the Standard. Something Borrowed's Colin Egglesfield was there to show his support as was a pregnant Ivanka Trump, who tweeted that the movie was "hilarious." Also on hand were Victoria's Secret models Alessandra Ambrosio and Selita Ebanks, enjoying a funny break from their recent press for the lingerie brand. The sequel comes out in Australia tomorrow.
The 2011 Tribeca Film Festival has been a star-studded affair, kicking off with the world premiere of The Union earlier last week and the Chanel dinner, both drawing celebs aplenty. The 10th annual Vanity Fair Party was no exception, with Robert De Niro making an appearance, as well as Jerry Seinfeld, Twilight's Anna Kendrick, Abigail Breslin and more!
Celebs toasted the Tribeca Film Festival last night during a cocktail reception at the W Hotel in Hollywood. The event begins on April 20 in NYC, but stars including Malin Akerman, Dax Shepard, Anna Kendrick and Kate Walsh got an early start to the celebration of independent filmmaking at the packed LA party. Malin's Bang Bang Club, which also co-stars Ryan Phillippe, and Kate's Angel's Crest will be among the first movies to screen at this year's fest. Yesterday evening also marked one of Justin Bartha's first public appearances since his split from Ashley Olsen, and The Hangover star was spotted catching up and laughing with friend Zach Braff inside the soirée. Zach will be a featured speaker at Tribeca this year, and fans can already start submitting questions for the Garden State director online.

Across town at the Odean, Chanel threw their annual dinner with a trio of starlets in Abbie Cornish, Kristen Bell and Selma Blair. Juror Peter Facinelli represented the Twilight crew, though he took a break from the judging to mingle with special Fab guest writer Rachel Zoe.
