Yesterday's LA premiere for Monsters University was full of more famous tots than a Hollywood playground. Gwen Stefani and Gavin Rossdale walked the blue carpet with their sons, Kingston and Zuma, while Alessandra Ambrosio modelled alongside her adorable daughter, Anja. Melissa Joan Hart also dropped by the bash with her son, Tucker, whom she carried into the premiere. The kid-friendly bash also drew stars from the film like Billy Crystal, Sean Hayes and Charlie Day, who told us earlier this week that he is happy to be doing a project that "won't embarrass his parents" — check out our interviews with Charlie Day and Billy Crystal. Monsters University is out June 20.
The LA Film Festival kicked off last Thursday, and stars have already flocked to the event to promote their newest projects. Yesterday, Eva Longoria got cuddly with the newly married Lake Bell at the screening for In a World, while Joe Manganiello attended a special coffee talk and showed off his new short hair 'do. On Saturday, a ladylike Rooney Mara met up with Casey Affleck to show support for their flick, Ain't Them Bodies Saints, while Alessandra Ambrosio took her daughter, Anja, to the premiere of My Little Pony: Equestria Girls. Rihanna went more laid-back and casual in her Big Star USA overalls with a tight tee and kicks, while Alexa elevated her black overalls with ladylike add-ons. Plus, Selena Gomez and Alessandra Ambrosio tested out the trend too. Watch on for outfit inspiration. . .

This year's Cannes Film Festival was a fashion delight, with arresting red carpet looks continuing right through the event's official closing ceremony. Nicole Kidman opted for another sleek, white dress to close things out, and Uma Thurman went big in a decadent metallic gown — there was even a pair of gilded wings to awe us! Look back at all the stylish moments, including the glamorous turnout at the amfAR Cinema Against AIDS Gala, but be warned: daydreaming is likely.
What's black and white and red all over? At the 2013 Cannes Film Festival, those seemed to be the colours of choice for the models walking down the red carpet. Newcomer Barbara Palvin wore an unexpected but chic black tuxedo by Alexandre Vauthier to the premiere of Cleopatra, and Heidi Klum wore a white, studded Versace gown to the premiere of Nebraska. Inès de la Fressange, at left, wowed photographers in a strapless red dress on her way to a screening of Jeune & Jolie. But Milla Jovovich was spotted in all three colours when she chose a Spring 2013 Chanel Couture gown for the Blood Ties premiere. But there were a few gorgeous girls who broke that trend: Joan Smalls saw Cleopatra in a stunning pale pink Pucci, and Liu Wen wore a deep purple Roberto Cavalli gown to see All Is Lost. A look at what the rest of the runway set wore on the red carpet at Cannes, here in the gallery.
Parties are always a big draw at the Cannes Film Festival, and one of the biggest soirees of all is the amfAR Cinema Against AIDS event. See how Jessica Chastain, Joan Smalls, and more stunned on the red carpet.
