We had a lot of beautiful looks to pore over this week, what with a fancy Vogue dinner and the 2013 Cannes Film Festival taking place, but we had to be selective and whittle our list of favourites down to 10. When it comes to the absolute best, no-holds-barred beauty looks of the week, we have to be wowed — and wowed we were when we caught sight of Cara Delevingne's Cannes look. It was dramatic, sexy and could've easily gone wrong. . . but it was so right. Jennifer Lawrence also opted for a bold lip, and speaking of bold, we were huge fans of Nicole Kidman's futuristic ponytail. Jessica Simpson and her fiancé, Eric Johnson, celebrated their baby shower with family and celebrity pals on Sunday at the Hotel Bel-Air in LA. Along with Jessica's mum, Tina, sister Ashlee, and daughter Maxwell, other pals including Ken Paves, Jessica Alba and her husband, Cash Warren, and Chelsea Handler and her boyfriend, André Balazs, turned out with gifts. The decor at Jessica's baby shower was appropriately boy-themed, since she and Eric are expecting a son. The event, planned by Mindy Weiss, had a Tom Sawyer motif, and guests were treated to comfort food like sliders and pigs in a blanket.

Jessica Simpson's growing baby bump was visible under a formfitting dress from her own line at Belk Southpark Mall in Charlotte, North Carolina, on Saturday. She was joined by sister Ashlee Simpson, fiancé Eric Johnson, and daughter Maxwell for the mall appearance to promote her Jessica Simpson collection. Baby Maxwell even got in on the action and posed for pictures with Jessica and Ashlee after the sisters greeted fans and signed autographs during the visit to the South.

Jessica, who recently revealed that she is expecting a boy, has been all about spending time with family lately. Ashlee and Jessica brought Maxwell and Ashlee's son, Bronx Wentz, along for a family date to Toys "R" Us last week. Maxwell has also accompanied Jessica for her duties as a judge on NBC's Fashion Star as shown in recent backstage footage from the show, which is currently in its second season.

Jessica and Ashlee Simpson stopped in Tampa yesterday to show off their latest collection inside Dillard's at International Plaza. Florida marks the latest stop for Jessica and Ashlee who attended a similar fan meet and great at Macy's in California last weekend. It's been a hectic week for Jessica who shot a new Weight Watchers commercial on Thursday and wrapped production on the second season of Fashion Star Friday. Jessica and fiancé Eric Johnson are also prepping to celebrate Maxwell's first Thanksgiving. So far they've marked other major holidays like Fourth of July and Halloween by sharing adorable family photos, but we'll have to wait and see if they keep up the tradition and share a candid snap with Maxwell on Thursday.
