In what appears to be a candid moment caught on tape, watch Taylor Swift stick out her tongue in response to seeing her good friend Selena Gomez getting cosy with Justin Bieber backstage at the Billboard Music Awards in Las Vegas yesterday. Selena and Justin reportedly reunited in Vegas before the show, and while they weren't shown sitting together at the event, they were caught in this sweet embrace backstage. So check out the GIF and tell us what you think. Was Taylor Swift caught making an actual "ew" face about Selena and Justin — OMG yes or LOL no?
Miguel attempted a daring jump over a pit of fans at today's Billboard Music Awards and unfortunately it did not all go as planned. The sexy singer collided with a couple female fans as he landed back onto stage. Check out a Vine of the incident (to get the sound to play, un-mute in the upper left hand corner) below. The woman he landed on seemed to walk away unscathed, but certainly must have been a little bit dazed after the unplanned up close and personal moment with the "Adorn" singer. Miguel later tweeted,"got caught up in the moment, thank goodness Khyati is okay." Keep reading to see how it unfolded.
Jennifer Lawrence had a jam-packed 24 hours at the Cannes Film Festival. She kicked things off with a photo call alongside her Catching Fire co-stars Liam Hemsworth and Sam Claflin, and then Jennifer slipped into a gorgeous Dior gown for the evening's marquee premiere. On Sunday, Jennifer joined her boys for the official Catching Fire party. She wore another Dior — this time white with a flower detail — before switching into a grey number. Once inside the bash, Jennifer sat close to Liam, but also stayed glued to her iPhone. Jennifer also showed off her big smile while chatting with fellow partygoers. Liam and Jennifer called it a night on the early side, leaving Catching Fire supporters to mingle with models in their Capitol finest.
Miley Cyrus followed up one sultry black and white jumpsuit with another, opting for this intricate Balmain look at the Billboard Music Awards in Las Vegas today. Miley's engagement ring was very much on, as it has been recently, which hopefully implies that any rocky period between her and Liam Hemsworth is over. Liam, meanwhile, is promoting Catching Fire at the Cannes Film Festival alongside his co-stars Jennifer Lawrence and Sam Claflin.
Taylor Swift's Billboard Music Awards is already off to a great start — she racked up six wins before the show thanks to a pre-telecast announcement of a handful of categories. Taylor picked a blue Zuhair Murad mini dress to hit the red carpet before taking her seat alongside BFF Selena Gomez and her on-again off-again boyfriend Justin Bieber inside. Taylor's latest single "22" is currently tearing up the charts as she travels on her world tour, though she was able to take time off recently to attend the Met Gala and film a guest starring role on the New Girl season finale.
Taylor paired her edgy dress with heavy black eyeliner — see her bold beauty decision up close on POPSUGAR Beauty and stay tuned for more Billboard Awards coverage!
Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart have split, according to a report by People. Its source says the couple called it quits after Robert didn't attend the 27th birthday celebration that Kristen organised for him earlier last week. Kristen was photographed looking upset, driving around their LA neighbourhood the following day. This isn't the first rough patch for Rob and Kristen, so perhaps it's only a temporary breakup. Robert and Kristen were spotted together in NYC just last week after she hit the red carpet at the Met Gala wearing Stella McCartney.
David Beckham may have played his final professional soccer game ever! David announced his retirement plans on Thursday, and today he played his final home game with his Paris Saint-Germain team. David has not yet revealed whether he will take the field for the team's last match of the season next weekend, but this final moment on the Parc des Princes pitch was certainly treated as an official send-off celebration. David's three sons, Brooklyn, Cruz, and Romeo, all stepped out onto the field with their dad and posed with the Ligue 1 trophy after the game. Victoria Beckham was up in the stands with Harper, decked out in a "Daddy" jersey, and David's parents.
The soccer star was spotted looking a little teary-eyed as he played his final minutes, and afterward David spoke to the media, saying, "The emotion started kicking in — it was hard to run, let alone kick a ball. I still feel good, but I know it's the right time." His teammates also hoisted him in the air as the crowd cheered. This certainly won't be the last we see of David, so hopefully this will leave more time for his many other projects, like underwear modelling.
Brad Pitt opened up even more about Angelina Jolie's health and cancer preventative surgeries in an interview he conducted with USA Today after his partner revealed her story on Tuesday. Brad kept his first statement about Angelina's double mastectomy surgeries short and sweet, but in this lengthier conversation, he delved into how their six kids coped and why it was so important to Angelina to share her experience with women around the world. Brad started:
"I'm quite emotional about it, of course. She could have stayed absolutely private about it and I don't think anyone would have been none the wiser with such good results. But it was really important to her to share the story and that others would understand it doesn't have to be a scary thing. In fact, it can be an empowering thing, and something that makes you stronger and us stronger."
Brad also spoke about Angelina's decision to honour her commitment to speak at the G8 summit, travel to Africa, and speak in New York "just weeks after she'd had truly major surgery" and how the family was able to "make an adventure" out of her recovery.
The saga isn't over, and overnight the news broke that Angelina will move forward on removing her ovaries as well. As his parting words in his interview, Brad spoke about what this has meant to him, saying it's been "an emotional and beautifully inspiring few months. And I'll tell you, it's such a wonderful relief to come through this and not have a spectre hanging over our heads."
Leave it to Beyoncé to have a personal train manager following her every move on Monday's Met Gala red carpet — her stylist Ty Hunter. Beyoncé was the woman of the hour when she made her late arrival, and in order to look perfect in every shot, she had her stylist around to make sure her Givenchy Haute Couture gown's train didn't have anything out of place. Of course, Ty looked fantastic in his own right — right on down to his sequined pants. He kept an eye on her train from the moment she stepped onto the carpet right through that stressful walk up the grand staircase.
This isn't the first time Beyoncé has needed some extra assistance at the Met Gala. In 2011, Jay-Z had to help her up the stairs in her restrictive Pucci gown! We feel for you, Ty, and job well done.
Check out some of his shining moments, just keep reading.
Emma Watson picked a cut-out dress designed by Prabal Gurung for today's big Met Gala in NYC. Emma pulled back her hair to let the dress — and her toned figure — get all the attention. The theme of the night was Punk: Chaos to Couture, and as expected, there was lots of black and peeks of skin on the red carpet. For an extra pop of punk, Emma rocked only one long earring. Emma is kicking off a very exciting May — she'll be bringing The Bling Ring to the Cannes Film Festival.
Weigh in on Emma's look and all the Met Gala fashion and beauty with our live polls now!
We had a hunch this would leak! The Reese Witherspoon arrest videos taken from the dashboard of the cop car are out, and the people at TMZ got their hands on them. There are three videos in total — one showing Reese getting handcuffed while she fights with an officer about her rights as an American citizen, another where Reese tries to tell the cop that she is pregnant and needs to get out of the car to use the bathroom, and a third where it's mostly Reese's husband, Jim Toth, taking his Breathalyzer test.
It's been quite a big day of news in Reese's disorderly conduct and Jim's DUI cases. Reese talked about her arrest on Good Morning America today and once again explained how sorry she is about what happened. Reese and Jim also submitted pleas. Reese pleaded no contest and had to pay a fine, while Jim pleaded guilty for his DUI and has probation for a year, community service, and more.
Now, the grainy video taken from the dashboard of the cop car has been released, and you can watch Reese's arrest on TMZ. Just as she described, Reese was clearly worried about husband Jim, who stayed calm throughout. At least after today, Reese can move on with her work, and hopefully she's learned a lesson from this whole ordeal.
The Hunger Games' official Catching Fire portraits are being unveiled for Capitol Couture this week, and we are thrilled to officially debut this very handsome image of Gale. In the portrait, Gale holds one white rose, which holds symbolism in the series. The portraits for Johanna Mason, Peeta Mellark and Katniss Everdeen — played by newly minted Oscar winner Jennifer Lawrence, of course — also show their characters with the same single flower. Gale becomes a far more central character in the second Hunger Games instalment, and we are certainly excited to see more of Liam Hemsworth in the role. Catching Fire comes out Nov. 21, and you can follow all of the exciting updates on its Twitter, Facebook and Instagram pages.
Anne Hathaway paid homage to the London locale of the BAFTA Awards by wearing a Burberry gown today. Anne is coming right off the Berlin Film Festival premiere of Les Misérables, where both she and Amanda Seyfried went with dark and sultry looks. Anne was all smiles as she hit today's red carpet. She is up for an award and she has yet to lose at any of the ceremonies this season. The Oscars are still around the corner on February 25 and she is considered a shoo-in for a win there as well. Check our all the BAFTA Awards red carpet pictures and stay tuned for more updates from the show!
Jennifer Lawrence opted for an embellished white Dior Haute Couture gown for this today's BAFTA Awards in London. She covered up in a coat for part of the chilly red carpet, but took it off to show off her shoulders and a slicked back hair look. Jennifer teamed up with Bradley Cooper to start the celebrations for Silver Linings Playbook in England earlier in the weekend. Jennifer is nominated this evening and is on roll after her wins at the Golden Globes, Critics Choice and SAG awards, but the biggest honour — the Oscars — is yet to come.
Jessica Alba and Amy Poehler share the screen in A.C.O.D., which premiered yesterday at the Sundance Film Festival. Adam Scott, who produced the film, and also plays Amy's love interest on Parks and Recreation, joined the leading ladies and the rest of the cast for the red carpet and after party. Jessica came to Utah straight from Paris Couture Week in France, but all that travel didn't slow her down. Jessica and her friends looked to be in great spirits as they celebrated at Silver on Main Street. Jessica also shared sweet photos of herself posing with the rest of the A.C.O.D. cast, including Amy and Adam.
Kate Bosworth and her fiancé Michael Polish premiered and promoted the film that brought them together, Big Sur, at the Sundance Film Festival yesterday. Michael directed the movie, which is an adaptation of Jack Keroauc's book of the same name, and Kate stars in it as one of Jack's lovers. Kate and Michael met while making Big Sur, and the actress revealed that she fell in love with Michael first as a director before their romantic relationship started. Kate also celebrated her 30th birthday in early January and spoke to press about taking on more mature roles like this one as she enters the next big decade of her life and career.
Amanda Seyfried and Peter Sarsgaard joined the rest of their cast for the highly anticipated Sundance Film Festival premiere of Lovelace yesterday. The movie, about famous porn actress Linda Lovelace, has been making headlines ever since casting and is already getting good buzz after its debut. Just hours after Lovelace screened to its first audiences, it had reportedly already nabbed a distribution deal with RADiUS-TWC. On the red carpet, Amanda spoke about having no reservations about taking on the risqué role, which she took on back to back with Les Misérables. Elsewhere at Sundance, Peter had a family reunion with brother-in-law Jake Gyllenhaal and mother-in-law Naomi Foner, who directed Very Good Girls, which was also at the festival. Peter and Jake joined Dakota Fanning and Elizabeth Olsen for a celebration of all of their films.
Shia LaBeouf and Evan Rachel Wood debuted their new romantic fairy tale thriller, The Necessary Death of Charlie Countryman, at the Sundance Film Festival yesterday. Shia's currently shaved head is a far cry from the wild hair that he sports in the movie, in which he also frequently shows off a shirtless toned physique. Evan, who recently revealed her pregnancy, plays a Romanian woman in the film, which takes place almost entirely in Bucharest. Shia's sense of humour shines throughout the bloody, action-packed project. Also making a fun appearance in the movie was Rupert Grint, whose drug-addled aspiring porn star is a very funny departure from Harry Potter's best friend Ron Weasley.
Nicole Kidman showed off her wintry chic style in a fitted coat at the Sundance Film Festival premiere of her thriller Stoker (out Mar. 28) yesterday. Once inside the screening, Nicole showed off a very formfitting dress on stage. She was joined by her co-stars Mia Wasikowska, Matthew Goode and Dermot Mulroney on the red carpet. We got a first look at the movie's creepy vibe when the Stoker trailer was released in September, and yesterday the audience was finally treated to Korean director Chan-wook Park's latest. Nicole then went on to party the night away with fellow festivalgoers. Nicole is coming right off her glamorous Golden Globes night with husband Keith Urban, though he skipped out on the trip to Park City, Utah.
Matthew McConaughey was still looking lean, but clearly has been working to put back on the kilos as he premiered his movie Mud at Sundance on Saturday night. Matthew's leading lady in the film, Reese Witherspoon, didn't join him for the Park City red carpet. Matthew and Reese debuted their film in Cannes and since then it has been quietly gaining positive buzz and momentum. In recent months the headlines about Matthew have been all about his weight loss for The Dallas Buyers Club, but this past weekend fans wanted to know about something else — his friendship with Lance Armstrong and his feelings about Lance's fall from grace. Matthew opened up a bit about his feelings of anger and disappointment in the wake of Lance's admissions. Matthew said that he was "pissed off" at Lance initially and that part of him took it personally, but then sad when he watched Lance's interview.
