And what about beauty and makeup?
"I try not to use to many different things. Obviously not makeup, but as far as skincare goes, I find the more things I put on . . . When I used to get bad skin when I was younger — when I was going through puberty — I’d put all these different things on my skin and it just made it worse. So I just stick to Tracie Martyn – she’s an English facialist based in NY and she has really good exfoliators, so I just use that.
"With makeup, I love red lipstick. That’s my favourite thing! But I like to have fun with it. I go for all the bright colours and I work with Rimmel London so they send me everything and then I kind of go mad, look at myself in the mirror and go, 'Okay, you can’t go out like that, you have eight different colours on your eyes and lips!' [Laughs]
"Also because I get my makeup done so often, it’s quite nice when I do it myself and I like to have fun with it and be a bit young. I feel a bit pre-teen with my makeup choices sometimes! [Laughs]
"I remember when I was younger and my dad told me I wasn’t allowed to wear makeup. I just looked at him like, 'You’re one to talk...!' But I understood where he came from."
