There was a subtle vintage vibe to the makeup at Talulah with Nicole Snell (Napoleon Perdis) citing "1960s California cool" as an inspiration. She interpreted that with luminous skin, false lashes (only one set was use to avoid the look from going "too sex kitten") and a hint of bronze to give the models a sun-kissed look as though they'd been "running around on vintage bikes" all afternoon. Napoleon Perdis Light Patrol Luminzer Palette played a key role in the look with the silver shade being used to highlight the high points of the face, the rose used as a triangle underneath the eyes to add colour when models smile and the bronze used underneath the silver shade to give the sun-kissed glow. Joh Bailey (TRESemme) was behind the bedhead style which he created using a big-barrelled tong to put two bends in the mid-section of the hair, leaving the ends straight. "It's got a raw, organic texture to it," he said. The hair was parted in the centre and Fresh Start Dry Shampoo was used to create the look. OPI Mod About You provided the perfect pop of pink to models' fingers and toes.
