In the bustling world of Aussie entertainment, Brittany Hockley is a name that pops up frequently. While she first caught our attention on a certain reality show, her journey has taken her far beyond that, encompassing acting, hosting, podcasting, and a little dash of romance.

Let’s take a closer look at her path from “Bachelor” fame to where she is today.

Brittany Hockley: “The Bachelor” Days

You might remember Brittany from the 2015 season of “The Bachelor Australia”, where she vied for the heart of Nick Cummins, also known as the Honey Badger.

Her season memorably saw no winning suitress in the finale, with both Hockley and Sophie Tieman dumped on national television. Though she didn’t receive the final rose, her charm endeared her to viewers.

Brittany tried her luck again at love, appearing on “Bachelor in Paradise” in 2020. She sparked up a romance with Timm Hanly in Fiji, who appeared on Angie Kent’s season of “The Bachelorette” in 2019. The pair left the show as a couple after just a few episodes, but broke up not long after returning to Australia.

Life Post-“Bachelor”

After “The Bachelor”, Brittany decided to pursue her passion for acting. In her first official acting role, Brittany plays the character Jade in “‘Malibu Crush”, an American dramedy where two friends from California create fake identities to win back their ex-girlfriend living in Sydney. She is also set to star in an upcoming mini-series titled “How Not to Fall in Love” alongside her radio co-host, Mitch Churi.

Brittany’s acting pursuits have seen her embark on an educational journey that includes prestigious institutions like the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland, Screenwise, and Nida. Her dedication to her craft is impressive.

Brittany Hockley: “Life Uncut” Podcast

Brittany, along with “Bachelor” star Laura Byrne, found success in the world of podcasting with “Life Uncut”. Their podcast is known for its candid and honest discussions about love, life, and lust. It’s not just their content that’s impressive; “Life Uncut” debuted at number one in Australia in 2019 and continues to be among the top 10 most-streamed podcasts in the country.

In 2022, the girls took their podcast to the stage, with their first “Life Uncut LIVE Show”, where they brought their take on love, life and lust to the stage in their raw, real and unfiltered form to a sell-out audience of more than 1,300 people. And the pair are about to go on tour again across the country.

In 2023 Britt, Laura and Mitch Churi were announced as the hosts of KIIS FMs new national afternoon show, “The PICKUP”, on air every weekday from 3-4pm.

Who Is Brittany Hockley Dating?

In recent news, the 35-year-old has found love with Swiss footballer Benjamin Siegrist. They met on the celebrity dating app Raya in November 2022 while Benjamin’s football team was in Australia. Since then, the pair have been pursuing a long-distance relationship. Both Hockley and Siergrist are travelling every couple of weeks to spend time with each other.

Brittany Hockley and Jordan Thompson

Before Benjamin Siegrist, Brittany was in a relationship with Australian tennis player Jordan Thompson. Their long-distance relationship eventually led to an amicable breakup in early 2021. Brittany openly discussed their split on her podcast, emphasising the absence of any drama.

Speaking on “Life Uncut” after the split, Hockley said the break-up had been amicable, making it all the more difficult to recover from.

“There have been days I didn’t get out of bed, there have been days I didn’t stop crying,” she confessed. “There’s not a story here. There is nothing that happened. It is the most beautiful and amicable break-up … we’re at a point of life where we couldn’t physically be together.”

Brittany Hockley and Abbie Chatfield Feud

In November last year, Brittany filled in for Jackie O on “The Kyle And Jackie O Show” alongside Kyle Sandilands. The pair welcomed American rapper Yung Gravy to the show, who is best known for his hit song “Betty (Get Money)”. During the interview, Yung Gravy revealed a past “relationship beginning” with “Bachelor” alum and “It’s a Lot” podcast host Abbie Chatfield.

The sparks began to fly when Sandilands made a rather provocative comment, saying, “Line up,” in response to Yung Gravy’s revelation about Abbie. Hockley added fuel to the fire by interjecting, “I have no doubt”, when Yung Gravy mentioned having a date planned with the “Masked Singer” judge.

Abbie Chatfield didn’t take these comments lightly and aired her grievances on her podcast, “It’s a Lot”. She called out both Kyle and Brittany for their “slut-shamey” remarks.

Brittany Hockley took to Instagram with a two-slide statement to address the controversy and clarify her stance. In her statement, she began by apologising for the “undercurrent misogynistic tones” that the interview had, acknowledging that live radio can often take unexpected turns.
