It might not be time for John Krasinski to slip into a superhero costume just yet, but you can still look forwarding to seeing that smirk on the big screen again soon. Krasinski is in talks to star opposite Ginnifer Goodwin in Something Borrowed, as well as the sequel Something Blue. Here's the catch—he'll have a smaller role in the first film as Ginnifer's close friend, before stepping up as the leading man and love interest in the second film.
I've always had a soft spot for Krasinski, and I particularly loved watching him ham it up in It's Complicated. Though it sounds like he's trying to break into something outside the rom-com realm, I'm happy to have him stick around for now. Fans of the books—is Krasinski a good fit?
Matt Damon is officially a Hollywood juggernaut. Not only does he have heaps of movies in the works (a Liberace biopic, an Eastwood film and a new project with the Coen brothers), he also has the thriller Green Zone. Even though I've been anxiously awaiting a fourth Bourne installment, Green Zone looks like a worthy substitute for the time being. (No doubt because it's directed by Paul Greengrass, who worked on the Bourne franchise.)
Damon is back to kicking butt and taking names as Roy Miller, an Army officer on the search for weapons of mass destruction. During his journey, Miller seeks the help of a journalist (Amy Ryan) and gets tangled up with an underhanded higher-up (Greg Kinnear). As a result of his sniffing around where he's not supposed to, Miller soon ends up with a giant bull's-eye on his head. Dun, dun, dun! While the storyline doesn't sound entirely fresh, you can still count me in for this one. The trailer has that edge-of-your-seat suspense vibe and with Damon and Greengrass working together, I know I'll be entertained. The movie hits theatres today, so watch the preview and let me know if you're interested in seeing Green Zone.

The brand new 10-second teaser for Eclipse is out! Which means, we finally get to see Edward, Bella and Jacob back in action for the third installment in the Twilight saga. Check out the tiny peek below and let us know what you think of it—amazing or anticlimactic?
Now that Jeff Bridges has that Oscar under his belt, it's time to take a look at his next project. A far cry from Bad Blake, Bridges will reprise his role as Kevin Flynn in the upcoming sequel to the 1982 sci-fi flick, Tron. In Tron Legacy, Flynn's computer savvy son Sam (Garrett Hedlund) follows a tip and sets out to find his father, who's been missing for the past 20+ years. What he finds is a cyber universe complete with spandex, Olivia Wilde and more Day-Glo than Burning Man.
Oh what a difference a few decades make! The gaming world is a hell of a lot cooler and clearly more futuristic than what we saw in the original (I've included the hilarious trailer for the first movie after the jump just to prove it). Even if Bridges is much older, it's still a treat to see him back in the arcade-like atmosphere. The movie doesn't hit theatres until next Christmas, but click through to get a taste.

Anna Faris and Chris Evans have signed on for the comedy What's Your Number?. Based on the book 20 Times a Lady by Karyn Bosnak, the story follows a young woman (Faris) who hits her "number" quota (read: the total men she's slept with), and thus, revisits her ex-boyfriends to make a relationship with one of them work. Evans is presumably stepping in to play Faris's lothario neighbour who helps her on her search, but I think we can all see where this is going—she realises she doesn't want her old loves and falls for her womanising (but adorable!) friend instead. But hey, that's just my hypothesis.

We first heard rumblings about this project over a year ago and since Faris' forte is funny, semi-raunchy scenes, I'm glad to see it finally come to fruition. Granted, the idea of a "number quota" is a little dumb, but I can't wait to see what guys pop up as her past loves. Cue awesomely awkward actor cameos! Have you read 20 Times a Lady? What do you think about Anna Faris and Chris Evans as an onscreen couple?
Who’s ready to see sexy Liam Hemsworth in 3-D? Thought so. According to the Hollywood Reporter, Miley Cyrus’ boyfriend has been cast in the 3-D adventure Arabian Nights. He’ll play a young commander who joins forces with Sinbad and Aladdin to rescue Queen Scheherazade. The movie is expected to start shooting at the end of the US summer. Looks like Sam Worthington better watch his back in the action star stakes—Liam’s signed on for this project, while his brother Chris Hemsworth has been cast in Marvel’s superhero movie, Thor.
Robert Pattinson popped up on US breakfast TV yesterday, where he talked beautiful costars and those ridiculous pregnancy rumours that circulated here in Oz. Check the video out below!
I've already shared with you my recent chats with Alice in Wonderland stars Anne Hathaway and Helena Bonham Carter, along with Alice herself, Mia Wasikowska, but there are two actors who you may not recognise in the film: Matt Lucas and Michael Sheen. In the film, Lucas pulls off the dual role of Tweedledum and Tweedledee, while Sheen (who you'll remember from New Moon) lends his voice to the White Rabbit. I sat down with the boys to chat about the film and the mysterious man that is Tim Burton.
Ryan Gosling has proven he's got a goofy side in interviews (and, OK, maybe on The Mickey Mouse Club), but on the big screen we usually see a more serious side to the actor. Don't get me wrong—Gosling's chops make him a welcome addition and treat to watch in any movie, but I'm particularly psyched that he's going in a new direction in his upcoming project. Gosling will be starring opposite Steve Carell, playing the "suave" best friend in a comedy about a father (Carell) in the midst of marital and family woes.
The snarky sidekick often gets the most laughs, so I can't wait to see Gosling making wisecracks and trying to offer advice to Carell. Plus, the word "suave" implies a certain degree of smoothness and a tiny bit of arrogance, which I can see Gosling having a lot of fun with. What's your take—are you excited to see Gosling tackle a comedy for the first time?
