A galaxy of Australian stars made their way to Sydney Opera House last night for the inaugural Australian Academy of Cinema and Television Arts (AACTA) Awards, which were originally the AFI Awards. The talent included a mix of Hollywood heavyweights, like AACTA president Geoffrey Rush, Cate Blanchett, Jacki Weaver and Mia Wasikowska, as well as some of our favourite small screen stars like Asher Keddie, Indiana Evans and Lincoln Lewis.
There were plenty of stunners who walked the red carpet, including Megan Gale, Xavier Samuel and Miranda Kerr, who presented an award with Rob Carlton. Comedian Julia Morris was in charge of speaking to the stars, and Rachael Taylor also had co-presenting duties in front of the camera.
