Amanda Seyfried and Shiloh Fernandez were joined by their director, Catherine Hardwicke, and co-stars Gary Oldman, Max Irons and Virginia Madsen for the Hollywood premiere of Red Riding Hood. The movie is a darker adaptation of the classic folk tale and if you think it has a Twilight-esque aesthetic, it’s because Catherine also helmed the first film with Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson. And even though the two stars weren’t present on the night, Twilight was represented by Nikki Reed, who is very close to Catherine (they co-wrote Thirteen together). But Amanda recently told Interview magazine that while it’s easy to draw comparisons between the films, they’re actually very different.
