American Music Awards Featuring Rihanna, New Kids on the Block, Backstreet Boys and More

Red Carpet Countdown: The 2010 American Music Awards

The 2010 American Music Awards air tonight in the US, and they're sure to be a crowd-pleaser. Rihanna will reportedly open the show with a song we've never heard her sing before, while New Kids on the Block and Backstreet Boys will close out the evening with a mashup—bound to excite anyone who went through a '90s boy band phase! They're not the only ones who will be taking the stage: Justin Bieber, Taylor Swift, Katy Perry, Christina Aguilera and more artists are scheduled to sing for the crowd (honestly, it's hard to choose who I'm looking forward to most!). Along with Fab and Bella, we'll be bringing you the red carpet action, and we'll be posting the full list of winners, along with any fun moments that happen throughout the event. Get a peek at the night's nominees here and stay tuned for more AMAs!

I'm way more excited for this than I was for the VMAs, and it used to be the other way around. Sure, the VMAs had a few of these, but the performances have been lackluster on MTV. I think I'm most looking forward to Katy Perry!
