Music acts dominate the grand final of Australia’s Got Talent, with one act winning the $250,000 prize tonight. This year’s pool of talent has been dubbed the best the series has seen so far, and with contestants like singer Jack Vidgen, illusionist Cosentino and triple-threat Timomatic, it’s not hard to see why! 14-year-old Jack has been a hot favourite to win from the first time he sang Whitney Houston’s “I Have Nothing” in his audition, and regardless of whether he takes the prize money tonight he has pretty much secured a record deal with Sony. His musical competition includes barbershop quartet Benchmark, teen crooner Liam Burrows, opera singer David De Vito, rapper The Bandit and Timomatic, while dance troupe Instant Bun, comedian The Old Fella and voice impersonator Ben Price are also in the running. Whoever takes out the prize, we can agree that they’ve all done Australia proud with their talent. So, who do you think will win?
Australia’s Got Talent airs tonight on Channel Seven at 7:30 p.m.
