Beyoncé met up with Jay-Z and Blue Ivy Carter for a lunch stop at Cafe Nervosa in Toronto yesterday. The family made a pit stop in Canada ahead of Beyoncé's concert in Chicago tonight. Jay-Z has a big achievement to celebrate today — his newest record, Magna Carta Holy Grail, debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 chart, marking his 13th album to hit the top spot. The couple also earned a total of three MTV VMA nominations between them today — two for Jay-Z's collaboration with Justin Timberlake on "Suit and Tie," and one for Beyoncé's "I Was Here." Despite all the big news, the pair have been taking it easy over the past two weeks in between concerts and album promotions. Beyoncé went shopping at Target in her hometown of Houston, Texas, over the weekend, and hit the pool with Blue Ivy in Miami last week. She also got in a nostalgic mood last night on Instagram, posting photos from her 2006 photo shoot for Giant magazine on her social media account.
