Channing Tatum and Jonah Hill took their 21 Jump Street to the SXSW festival in Austin yesterday. The guys threw on their cop uniforms for an afternoon Q&A with their co-stars Rob Riggle and Dave Franco, and continued wearing the getups for an evening premiere and after party. Channing made the rounds with his wife Jenna Dewan. We caught up with the guys when they were in Sydney a few weeks ago, and Jonah talked about why he decided to bring 21 Jump Street to the big screen: "For us, it was just about, ‘Hey, if you could go back and live the most important period of your youth, thinking you have all the answers,’ that’s a cool idea for a film. That’s why I did it." He also praised Channing's comedic chops, saying, "He was ballsy enough to take a leap of faith, to do something completely different. I love when any actor has that kind of cojones to jump into something so foreign to them; [they’re] gonna be good because they’re courageous." The movie opens nationally on March 15.
