Emma Watson is clearly a favourite with the staff and readers of Teen Vogue as the August 2013 issue marks the fourth time she’s been a cover girl for the magazine. Her relationship with Teen Vogue started in Nov. 2005 when she was still only known as Hermione Granger in the Harry Potter movies, and this time around she’s promoting The Bling Ring (out Aug. 8), which sees her in her most un-Hermione role yet. Emma’s turn as Nicky, a party girl and member of the Bling Ring gang that robbed celebrities such as Paris Hilton, Miranda Kerr and Orlando Bloom in 2008 and 2009, saw her sustain an injury on the set, as she recounted in her accompanying interview, “We were doing a scene in a nightclub and this girl accidentally put her stiletto through my toe! And the crazy thing is, I had so much adrenaline going through my system that I just kept dancing until, finally, I looked down at my foot and saw the blood.”
Emma also revealed that despite being an organised person, being in the acting industry doesn’t allow for long-term plans. She shared, “I wish so badly that I could have a plan. I’m someone who likes to be organised and know what she’s doing, and this industry just does not permit that in any shape or form. You never know when a movie is going to start, if it’s going to get financing, where it’s going to be.” To mark Emma’s fourth time on Teen Vogue’s cover, we’ve gathered her past cover shots so you can see her evolution.
