Kyle Sandilands Rushed to Hospital Due to High Blood Pressure During Sydney Taping of Australia's Got Talent

Kyle Sandilands Rushed to Hospital During Filming

Kyle Sandilands was rushed to hospital on Saturday night during a Sydney taping of Australia’s Got Talent. About halfway through the program the judge and radio host started complaining of migraines but it was actually his super-high blood pressure that led to him being taken to St. Vincent’s Hospital in Darlinghurst. A source from the set told the Herald Sun, “He was checked out by medics on set, who quickly realised his blood pressure was through the roof.” Channel Seven also released a statement that said: “Kyle got through most of the day’s taping but was feeling unwell and couldn’t finish the day. He’s home and resting up.”

Kyle was unable to fulfil his radio duties this morning and his fellow judges Brian McFadden and Dannii Minogue filled in with his co-host Jackie O. Just after 8 a.m. Jackie asked Brian and Dannii what had happened on Saturday night, and Brian said, “I think it was a big build up of things that happened.” He then revealed that he and Kyle had enjoyed some KFC beforehand. The three poked fun at Kyle’s unhealthy habits and joked that Kyle wanted to be taken to hospital in a Rolls Royce instead of an ambulance. Earlier in the program the show’s psychic Georgina Walker predicted that Kyle would be dead by 43, but Jackie said she only said that because they all wanted Kyle to change his lifestyle (it includes lots of smoking and coffee and Coke-drinking).

This isn’t the first health scare Kyle’s had — in 2007 he had to leave Celebrity Big Brother due to illness. He’s currently resting and recovering at his rented Terrey Hills mansion.
