List of Nominations For the 2010 Screen Actors Guild Awards

Announcing the 2010 Screen Actors Guild Nominees!

Award season is kicking into high gear! Following the Golden Globe nods earlier this week, the Screen Actors Guild just released its list of potential honourees. While most of the nominees are expected, there are a few names that I'm excited to see, like Diane Kruger for her supporting role in Inglourious Basterds! Seems the Guild really liked the film, not only nominating Diane but also Christoph Waltz and the cast as a whole. Other movies that also earned three nominations: Precious and Up in the Air — even though the latter was surprisingly overlooked for the big cast award. As for TV, the Guild tended to lean toward veteran shows instead of newcomers. Geeks Lea Michele and Matthew Morrison were noticeably absent from the list despite their Golden Globe mentions, as is Cougar Town's Courteney Cox. The awards will be handed out on Jan. 23, but keep reading to view the full list of nominees

Hey, blondie829, you're correct — there isn't a category to acknowledge TV supporting actors/actresses, unfortunately.

Buzz, is it true that they don't have nominations for supporting actors/actresses for TV? If so, that's really strange to me...

I again have to say I'm disappointed that no one has recognized the amazing work that Katy Sagal has done on Sons of Anarchy. I have to guess it's just because the show isn't as popular as the others, but her performances are insane this season.

Parks and Rec should have an ensemble nom.....definitely over The Office, who too, too frequently ignores the really funny supporting characters to focus on Jim, Pam, and Michael.
