Listen to Kanye West's Remix of Katy Perry's "E.T." and the Original Version From Teenage Dream

Katy Perry Gets Kanye West In On the "E.T." Action

It’s time for some maths. What do you get when you add Kanye West to Katy Perry? Answer: a cool collaboration on one of Katy’s new singles. You may have already heard the original version of “E.T.” on the radio or on the Teenage Dream album, but now Kanye West has added his bit and will also feature in the music video (which looks like it will be pretty extra-terrestrial — yes, that’s what the song’s about, sort of). You’ll also remember that Snoop Dogg featured on “California Gurls,” which seemed like an odd fit at first but totally worked. Listen to both the original “E.T.” and the Kanye-enhanced one here and let me know which one you prefer. (On a side note: doesn’t the song remind you of Russian duo t.A.T.u.’s song “All The Things She Said” from back in 2002?)
