Been to any fashion shows?
Ben: No, this is our first one. We’ve spent a lot of money on fashion, but never actually been to a show.
Andy: One of my friends is pretty high in Myer and she wanted us to come.
Ben: We’re standing in the line walking up going, “What are we doing here? This is so awkward.” We shot Ready, Steady, Cook yesterday, and we thought this is the day after, so we might as well come to it.
How’d your Tassie pop-up go?
Ben: Unreal. We catered for 200 people across three nights. Everything went the way it was meant to. We had a couple of problems with the main, but we fixed that up really quickly. The show taught us how to think on our feet. It went really well. We couldn’t have asked for anything more.
Andy: Everyone loved it. Everyone loved the food, interacting with us and stuff like that.
Ben: Andy played some footy.
Andy: I played my first game of AFL.
I can’t believe no one told me you were going to be back on All Stars.
Ben: We had to be tight-lipped about that.
Andy: I forgot about it. After a week I just forgot I was even on there.
[To Andy] Do you have a crush on Justine? That’s what people are saying . . .
Andy: Oh, that’s how it was portrayed . . .
Ben: Do you want us to go have a talk without him here? [Laughs]
How is the female attention situation going by the way?
Andy: Yeah, it’s alright. Everyone’s positive. We haven’t had any crazy people yet.
Ben: And we’re not really in the same place for a long time. We’ve been all over the place over the last three weeks. It doesn’t really affect you. You come out to a thing like this, and then tomorrow you’ve got a day when we’re gonna write recipes for his book, so we’ll be inside all day. Then we go to Melbourne on Saturday, we’re there for two days. Then we’re back up here to do recipe testing.
[To Ben] If you help write it, do you get a co-author credit?
Ben: I better!
Andy: No way.
