The stars of Disney's Oz the Great and Powerful stepped out for the world premiere of their film yesterday in LA, and we were live on the scene to capture all the action on the red carpet. Michelle Williams, James Franco and Rachel Weisz all attended, as did Mila Kunis, whose boyfriend, Ashton Kutcher, was also on hand for the debut.
James Franco arrived by hot air balloon in a plaid Gucci suit for the event, while Mila walked the "yellow brick road" clad in a cream-coloured Dolce & Gabbana dress. Mila told us that this would be her first time seeing the film and that she doesn't get nervous having friends and family watching with her. Though Mila was able to keep some of the film's big secrets under wraps, her co-star Rachel Weisz — who wore a stunning orange Victoria Beckham dress — wasn't as tight-lipped, saying, "I have told some friends, but they'll keep it hush hush."
Michelle Williams, who plays Glinda in the movie, wore a white beaded Prada dress on the red carpet and shared her excitement about getting to help design and pick out her character's costumes. While her boyfriend, Jason Segel, and her 7-year-old daughter, Matilda, weren't with her on the red carpet, Michelle told us that she was looking forward to showing the film to her little one in a less "overwhelming" setting. Oz the Great and Powerful is out on March 7.
