Picture of Kate Middleton's New Coat of Arms and Royal Wedding Ceremonial Timing Schedule

Royal Wedding Update: Kate's Coat of Arms, Social Media . . .

We’re just over a week away from Prince William and Kate Middleton’s wedding, and with each new detail that emerges we’re getting even more excited for their big day. Kate has just been given a new Coat of Arms that represents her and her family. The three acorns represent Kate and her siblings, Philippa and James, while the gold chevron stands for her mother, Carole, whose maiden name is Goldsmith. The thin white lines outside the chevron represent hills and mountains, alluding to the Middleton family’s love of outdoors, while the colours red and blue were chosen from the UK flag.

The Official Royal Wedding Website has also reminded people how they can keep up with everything happening on April 29 via social media, with the wedding being streamed live on The Royal Channel on YouTube and constant updates posted on Clarence House’s Twitter. (We will also be bringing you all the action LIVE on PopSugar, FabSugar and BellaSugar!) Also, in case you missed the minute-by-minute schedule of the ceremonial timings, we’ve got your back. Check it out after the jump.
