Prince George's curiosity was on display as Kate Middleton wrapped him in her arms at an airport in Sydney on Monday morning. As Prince William held their belongings — including George's cute kangaroo bag! — the young prince scoped out the scene, giving us a glimpse of his big brown eyes. Covered up in a dark blue knitted sweater and pants, George matched with his dad, who suited up for the big occasion. Meanwhile, Kate donned a sleek patterned dress and beige heels. Once the fashionable family's private jet was ready, William, Kate, and George walked up the stairs and boarded the plane together. The quick stop in Sydney after their departure from London marks the beginning of George's first royal tour, for which the trio will travel to New Zealand and return to Australia.
Three hours later, at 12 p.m. local time in New Zealand, the Duchess of Cambridge disembarked the plane in a bright red ensemble carrying George! Kate accessorised her Catherine Walker coat with a diamond and platinum silver fern brooch on loan from the Queen; the silver fern is a New Zealand icon. Kate, William and George arrived at Wellington Military Terminal and will attend a welcome ceremony at Government House.
