Princess Mary and her husband Crown Prince Frederik have spent the past week in New York, where their schedule has been filled with official duties such as an exhibition opening, charitable efforts, and a ball! Princess Mary was on hand for the opening of the American-Scandinavian Foundation Centennial Exhibition at Scandinavia House on Oct. 20, and then she and her husband made a stop at the National September 11 Memorial on Oct. 21. Later that night, the Danish royals changed into formal attire to attend the foundation’s Centennial Ball at the Hilton, where they made their way around the dance floor! In the following days they took some time out to tour the farmers market, and on Oct. 23 Mary paid a visit to the Riis Neighborhood Settlement House. It seems as though the parents left their brood of four at home — the world got a closer look at their 10-month-old twins, Vincent and Josephine, when the royal family posed for some cute pictures in August. They also marked another milestone when they sent their eldest son, Prince Christian, off to his first day at school that same month!
