Andrew Garfield is hands down the best Spider-Man ever! He portrays the comic Spidey more than anyone else has done before. Tobey MaGuire did a okay job and did good acting but the script lacks several elements that made Spider-Man who he really was. Andrew brought Spider-Man alive in ways of comedic fighting, a romantic ladies man, and someone who sticks up for other even without having powers. Andrew Garfield made the character smart and geek out with the science. Tobey's Spider-Man only portrayed a loser boy who is hopelessly and secretly in love with Mary Jane and lacks to show above average brilliance and smarts.

heck no. andrew garfield was by far the better spiderman, and this was the better movie. first off, gwen stacey came first in the comics, so the other movies suck for cutting out her character. second, mj fell in love with SPIDERMAN. she loves peter because he is a superhero, whereas gwen loves peter for who he is, and therefore loves spiderman. third, garfield's peter wasn't just geeky, he was still bullied by his classmates for sure, but he actually stood up to them. and seriously, tobey is wimpy looking, what is he 3 foot two? and you expect us to think a little tiny guy could become all that? sorry, no. Fourth, Garfield is hot. honestly, tobey is just not that good looking, im sorry thats horrible to say but come on, just LOOK at andrew garfield! next, garfield's spidey is hilarious! I was crying laughing most of that movie. he took spiderman's wits and just took it to a whole new level. With the food scene, the "small kinves are my weakness" scene, basketball theme, the organic eggs at the end scene, and just tons more!! And last, the chemistry between Garfield and Stone is amazing. They are together in real life so it makes the movie that much cuter. sorry this is so long...i'm fangirling

I thought Emma Stone was pretty cute in it... but maybe I was just interested in the on-screen chemistry that lead to the off-screen romance!
