The live shows of The X Factor kick off tonight! Last week the judges, Mel B (under 25 males), Natalie Bassingthwaighte (under 25 females), Guy Sebastian (over 25s) and Ronan Keating (groups), picked the three acts they'd be taking through to the live shows after international visits to New York and London, and advice from some of the biggest music acts in the world: Usher, Ke$ha, Alicia Keys and One Direction respectively. Some of the top 12 are familiar faces — they've either auditioned for The X Factor before or another talent show — while some are fresh names and voices who were only introduced to Australia weeks ago. In a few short months, one of these acts will be named the winner of The X Factor, hoping to emulate the success of last year's winner Reece Mastin. Who do you think has what it takes to go all the way?
The X Factor airs Mondays and Tuesdays at 7:30 p.m. on Channel Seven.
