Video Footage From Royal Baby Public Debut Leaving Hospital

Watch Footage From the Royal Baby's Public Debut!

Multiple livestream cameras were set up in front of St. Mary’s Hospital in London to ensure every moment of the royal baby’s public debut would be captured when his parents, Prince William and Kate Middleton, were ready to introduce him to the world. And that moment happened just hours ago, when the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge recreated Prince William’s own public debut on the steps of the hospital. The young new parents were beaming as they took turns cradling their still-unnamed son, and even spoke to waiting media. “Well, he’s got a good pair of lungs on him, that’s for sure,” William said. “He’s a big boy, he’s quite heavy. We’re still working on a name; we’ll have that as soon as we can. It’s the first time we have seen him, really, so we are having a proper chance to catch up.”

Kate Middleton added, “It’s very emotional. It’s such a special time.” And they confirmed that their little boy arrived later than his due date, with William saying, “I’ll remind him of his tardiness when he’s a bit older. I know how long you’ve [media] been out here. So hopefully the hospital and you guys can all go back to normal now and we can, you know, look after him.” As for who they think Baby Cambridge takes after? William said, “He’s got her looks, thankfully!”
