Mariah Carey Celebrates Her Twins, Monroe and Moroccan, Turning 12: “ALWAYS Be My Babies”

Monroe and Moroccan Cannon are almost teens! On April 30, Mariah Carey shared a sweet post on Instagram in celebration of the twins’ 12th birthday. Their dad, Nick Cannon, also celebrated the kids’ special day with posts on Instagram featuring a Six Flags takeover.

Carey shared a carousel of photos of the twins starting with a pic featuring her, Monroe, and Moroccan hanging out in the back seat of a car. The next photo shows the trio filming a video in what appears to be the “Always Be My Baby” singer’s closet. Fittingly for the Queen of Christmas, she wrapped up her collection of throwback snaps with a holiday pic.

“Happy birthday to my favorite people on the planet!!!” Carey captioned her post. “I thank God for you every day! ‘Our love is Supernatural!!!’ Ooh darlings ’cause you’ll ALWAYS be my babies!!!”

Meanwhile, Cannon posted a video chronicling Moroccan and Monroe’s (or Roc and Roe, as the dad of 12 calls his oldest kids) day at Six Flags Magic Mountain. In the video, the twins and all of their friends arrive in a limo wearing matching “Roc and Roe” sweatshirts. The “Wild ‘n Out” host proceeds to prove he’s up for anything from playing games to riding even the most daring rides with his kids. “Happy 12th Birthday to my first borns Roc & Roe! 🎉❤️ Daddy loves y’all forever!” he captioned his post.

Earlier this month, Cannon got candid about what it’s like for him to be parenting a pair of tweens on an episode of the “Howie Mandel Does Stuff” podcast. “It’s my first time having 12-year-olds, and I have a set of them! And we’re having real conversations,” he said. “Because, you know, their lives are far from normal. Their mom is one of the biggest entertainers to ever live, and their dad is me. They’re so intelligent, they’re so in tune with their own values.”
