We didn’t know Ruby Rose and Vanessa Hudgens ran in the same circle of friends, but whatever the extent of their friendship is, Ruby was there when Vanessa got her first tattoo in New York yesterday! And after tossing up between getting it done on her ribs or neck, Vanessa settled for her neck and got a butterfly!
Despite Ruby joking that she had convinced Vanessa to get inked, it’s something the Sucker Punch actress has wanted to do for a while. She told US Elle at the Jeremy Scott show at New York Fashion Week: “My name actually means butterfly and I’m getting a butterfly tattooed on my neck like next week . . . It’s literally been like six years that I wanted one and I finally figured out what I want, where I want it and when I get home I’m pretty sure I know the artist that I want to do it so I’m going to go get it.” Make that more like the next day! And when people joked that Ruby had corrupted Vanessa, she responded: “I love how suddenly its my doing! Haha as if.. Gurrl had her mind set, looks hot.” What do you think of V’s butterfly tattoo?

Considering she arrived at the Grammy Awards in an egg-shaped womb so she could be “born” onstage for her performance of “Born This Way,” it’s probably fair to say that there’s nothing Lady Gaga won’t do for her craft or something she’s passionate about. (Whether she actually spent 72 hours “incubating” inside her egg is a different matter. And most of us think she didn’t.) So it shouldn’t surprise anyone that when she appeared on Good Morning America yesterday morning to raise awareness about AIDs as part of her role as a MAC beauty ambassador she was dressed as a condom. Or at least, it was a “latex-condom-inspired outfit.” On the program she said, “I want to get people started at home at a younger age with their children talking about HIV, talking about AIDS, talking about safe sex.” She hopes that her collaboration with MAC can raise $50 million for HIV/AIDs-related causes. New York's Fall Fashion Week is winding down, and even though here at Pop we don't cover style like our friends Fab and Bella, that doesn't mean we can't appreciate a film about the glam industry (we do stalk the front row, though!). Oh, to have the life of Lara Bingle! She recently tweeted about her travels this year: “Mexico. London. Las Vegas. New York. Los Angels. Hawaii. Paris this year already! Collecting some miles and jetlag. BLESSED.” She’s currently in London, where she apparently hit up the Brit Awards with Jason Derulo. There’s also been some confusion over a tweet she posted on Valentine’s Day. She wrote:
My friend @hermioneolivia just started to tell me about 'this guy' that she's 'whatever-ing.
Asked if she received anything 4 valentines day she replied.. 'We had breakfast, he was topless. Perfection' Soo jealous.#takingitfortheteam
Some people thought Lara was referring to Jason being topless, but it’s pretty clear that she’s talking about her pal Hermione Underwood’s guy, right? In case anyone’s still unsure she clarified it in a tweet to Hermione:

We’re almost catching up to the US episodes of Glee but as we know, so much happens in one episode. We’ve got the Valentine’s Day episode screening next Monday (have you listened to the songs?) but previews for the music featured in the upcoming “Blame It on the Alcohol” have just come out. Included in the set list are “TiK ToK” by Ke$ha, “One Bourbon, One Scotch, One Beer” by Amos Milburn, “Don’t You Want Me” by Human League and the titular “Blame It (On The Alcohol)” by Jamie Foxx. And yes, you can have a sneak peek listen to them right now! The one I’m most excited for? “Don’t You Want Me”, which will be sung by Blaine (Darren Criss) and Rachel (Lea Michele). What about you?

At last night’s LA premiere of Unknown, Diane Kruger was her usual glamorous self and had long-time beau Joshua Jackson by her side on the red carpet. And after we’d admired her stunning dress and their general cuteness as a couple, we noticed a thin band on Diane’s left ring finger . . . as well as one on Joshua’s. Naturally this led to speculation that the two could be married, but if that’s the case it doesn’t match Diane’s current philosophy on marriage.
She was once married to Guillaume Canet (now the boyfriend and father of Marion Cotillard’s future baby) and last year told UK Marie Claire magazine that the chances of her tying the knot again were very slim. She said: “No, I don’t think so. Because I’ve realised commitment is important and no matter what paper you’re going to sign, if that commitment ceases to be there you’ll get out of the marriage anyway.” What do you think about Diane and Joshua’s rings? Kate Bosworth hasn’t been clocking up too much time at New York Fashion Week but she jetted in from LA to make a front row appearance at Calvin Klein just as the week is about to wrap! The stylish actress — who has ventured into the fashion world with her own accessories line, JewelMint — looked stunning in a simple orange dress and sat alongside Kerry Washington and Zoe Saldana to watch the clothes as they came down the runway. Kate was recently at a party celebrating The King’s Speech (it stars her The Warrior’s Way co-star, Geoffrey Rush) and spent some time in Utah in January for the Sundance Film Festival, where she promoted two films.
