While Cars 2 has just been released, Pixar is already prepping us for their next animated adventure. In Brave, we meet Pixar's very first leading lady in Merida, a flame-haired princess who is more interested in honing her archery skills than settling down and getting married. Thus begins a foray into the woods with her horse, and from the looks of this first teaser, a lot more than that. Grey's Anatomy's Kevin McKidd provides the narrative as we meet our heroine for the first time and watch her encounter a bear. This preview doesn't tell too much of the story, but we can see that the fairy tale will be beautiful — and a bit dark.

Anne Hathaway graces the cover of August's US Harper's Bazaar in a gorgeous red gown. The actress is kicking off promotions for One Day, and she posed for a striking spread with photographer Alexi Lubomirski and also sat down to chat about her recent Oscars hosting gig and the men in her life. Anne is still going strong with boyfriend Adam Shulman, saying of their relationship, "so far, it's worked out great," but she also touched on why things ended with her ex Raffaello Follieri. Here is more of what Anne said:

• On hosting the Oscars: "I let James know that a whirling dervish is a more flattering comparison than a Tasmanian devil. I called him, and we emailed a bit. In the grand scheme of things, I got to have a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. I met great people, wore beautiful clothes. And I got to put on a show. I don't see a downside. Anyone who disliked my personality probably disliked my personality before the Oscars."
• On her relationship with Raffaello Follieri: "There's something very addictive about people pleasing, it's a thought pattern and a habit that feels really, really good until it becomes desperate. It's one of the reasons that relationship ended. I wasn't able to grow or foster anything."
• On getting caught up in romance: "Which has its wonderful side, of course, but also it was exhausting, and sometimes it would freak me out. Mellow doesn't always make for a good story, but it makes for a good life."

The Twitterverse has been going crazy with tweets that Beyoncé is pregnant. It’s the rumour surrounding the private star that refuses to die, even after she performed a killer set to close Glastonbury on Sunday and just gave a special, secret performance at Shepherds Bush Empire in London, which was attended by friend Gwyneth Paltrow, Adele, and some of the guys from Glee. While in London she also taped an interview with Piers Morgan, where she talks about turning 30, and inevitably the topic of babies came up. She told Piers, “I always said I’d have a baby at 30. I’m 29. But I also said I was going to retire at 30. So I don’t know.” When pushed further by Piers, who asked, “Can we expect the little patter of little Beyoncé’s and Jay-Z’s?” In Beyoncé’s own words: “Only God knows.”

Gywneth Paltrow stepped out in London today for the special Beyoncé 4D event. Gwyneth, who has been spending some time in her husband's hometown recently, arrived at Shepherds Bush Empire for the exclusive evening in a high ponytail and belted sundress. The soirée will reportedly include a screening of a making-of documentary that will take guests behind the scenes of B's new album, 4, as well as a special performance by the superstar. Beyoncé and Gwyneth are good friends, and Gwyneth was also in the audience at Beyoncé's Glastonbury Festival show over the weekend to cheer on B as the singer closed out the musical celebration. Gwyneth will also get the chance to reunite with some of her co-workers at the party — Glee stars Chris Colfer and Kevin McHale were also on hand for B's bash, and Gwyneth tweeted a fun picture of her and Kevin hanging out together inside.
