Twilight ladies Ashley Greene and Nikki Reed were out in force, Sophia Bush and Olivia Munn opted for electric shades, while the guys of New Girl, Max Greenfield, Jake Johnson and Lamorne Morris, posed together ahead of their MC duties. It was a star-studded red carpet at Tuesday night's premiere of Hit and Run (out Sep. 6) at Regal Cinemas in LA. Dax Shepard, who wrote and directed the film, arrived in style with his leading lady, and fiancée, Kristen Bell, by his side. Kristen rocked a black satin jumpsuit, while co-star Bradley Cooper sported a sexy leather jacket. The stars all took time to sign autographs for fans who were lining the streets before joining castmates Jason Bateman, Michael Rosenbaum, Tom Arnold, Ryan Hansen, and Joy Bryant for group photos. It looked like they had a great time filming since their red carpet reunion was filled with plenty of laughter. We asked the stars how Dax stacked up as a director and Ryan jokingly rated him an 8.5, saying, "He's got some work to do," while Bradley simply said, "He's awesome; he's incredible." Bradley also mentioned he'd love to try his hand at directing soon, too.

The petite actress had co-hosting duties with country musician Toby Keith for the awards show, which is voted for by fans and recognises country music videos and television appearances. Carrie, in a short sequinned dress, was accompanied by her husband Mike Fisher, while Ashley and Hayden posed solo. Last year’s big winner for video of the year, Taylor Swift, wasn’t there, but she’s still in the headlines since John Mayer has made some comments about her song “Dear John,” which was written about him after their relationship ended in early 2010.

The ensemble drama is based on the 1989 movie and has endured a long road of trials and tribulations, mainly due to original star Maura Tierney's illness and subsequent replacement by Lauren Graham. At long last, the show is finally getting its coming out party with tonight's premiere on Channel Seven. The hourlong pilot introduces you to the four grown Braverman siblings and each of their children, significant others, and issues. Graham plays Sarah, a struggling single mother to two rebelling teens who finds herself having to move back in with her parents in Berkeley, California. Conveniently, the rest of the family also lives there: older brother Adam (Peter Krause), whose son may have Asperger's Syndrome, younger sister Julia (Erika Christensen), a career woman who's worried about bonding with her young daughter, and delightfully immature Crosby (Dax Shepard), whose girlfriend is ready to have a baby, with or without him. There's a lot of ground to cover at first, but the likable characters and mile-a-minute problems are all poised to draw you in. I'll be tuning in for the great cast and excellent writing— will you?
