It's easy to see why Carla Zampatti has lasted the distance in such a fickle industry. Starting her luxurious label in 1965 — yup, I said '65, when you think of Carla's clothes you immediately conjure up images of elegance and class. And with good reason. Today, Carla showed her Spring/Summer 2010/11 collection in her beautiful home in Sydney and I was lucky enough to witness the intimate show. The collection had all the trimmings of a fabulous red carpet moment — gorgeous drapery, organza, tulle and shocking bursts of colour. Day wear also made an appearance in the form of earthy neutrals, relaxed cover-ups and sharp tailoring. Stylist Michelle Jank cleverly injected a '70s and '80s Parisian couture look thanks to detailed headgear and sleek long gloves. Magnifique!
