Dion Lee may have skipped MBFWA this year, but he more than made up for it by showing his most recent 'Transit' collection at S/S '13 London Fashion week — and to rapturous reviews, may we add. The wonder-kid of Australian fashion continues to gain international fans with his cleverly constructed garments and future-seeking silhouettes. His signature architectural detailing was present again; origami-like folds, vented suiting and strapped-in harness techniques — as were the marbled abstract prints — but there was a lightness, too, to Lee's latest vision. Cleaner lines, sheer sleeves, sculptural folding, simple block-colour combinations and sports-detailing like racer-necks and drawstring waistbands made it both modern but incredibly wearable. Basically, we want to bulk-order the lot. The collection will drop in-stores from February, in line with local A/W '13 ranges — meaning you've got plenty of time to collate those wish lists.
