Erin Wasson In Sydney For Low Luv Jewellery launch, Vogue Shoot and Holiday at Bondi

Fab Exclusive! Erin Wasson On NYFW, Bondi and Bette Midler

Last night I hung out with Erin Wasson. True story. Happy to take time out of her Bondi-based Sydney holiday, Erin was celebrating the release of her latest Low Luv jewellery line at the Paddington Trilby Phoenix store. Looking very NYC in cut-off denim jeans, flat boots and fist-fulls of silver finger bling of her own design, Erin (and her cute boyf) basked curb-side in the humidity after experiencing a very chilly New York Fashion Week. I braved the heat to have a quick chat with the American model/style icon/designer between ciggies (hers) and ginger beer (mine). She talked at ease about walking for Michael Kors' 30th Anniversary NYFW show — sharing that Bette Midler sang on a ukulele backstage and Michael's anniversary cake reduced him to tears. When asked about her Sydney schedule, she said she was happy just hanging at the beach, as well as squeezing in shoots for Vogue and Grazia magazines.

Relaxed, super friendly, and normal (in a ridiculously beautiful kinda way), Erin is our new girl crush. But what of the jewellery? The new range doesn't hit stores until March, so we got impatient and picked our five faves from the current Resort collection to add to cart. Want get a sneak peek? Click through to see the new Low Luv campaign (no clothes necessary when you've got accessories like this), our top five buys, and my personal encounter with Erin Wasson. And before you ask yes, I asked for a picture with her and yes, I have no shame.
